The alarm began in the center of the country and its surroundings, and then spread to the other states. Confirmed cases are predominantly higher in the center of the country. It seems that in my state there are two confirmed cases. I have my doubts, it has been a long time and the cases of contagion of those positives still do not come out? I don't know what's happening.
Our president says that the cases total 119 positives in the whole country. With 1 deceased and many others already recovered.
Currently, preventive measures have increased. You're not allowed to leave after noon. Food dispensing centers such as supermarkets are closed after noon. Bakeries don't work after 5pm. There is no free transit. You must have special permits to transit, such as a food transport permit.
There are no public meetings. Masses are not celebrated. The use of a face mask is mandatory. And hygiene measures are repeated over and over, as a personal mechanism to avoid contagion.

En mi país,Venezuela, el presidente llama a este aislamiento público, cuarentena social. Aunque hay pocos casos hasta ahora, según él, la política de restricciones que implementó es fuerte. No quiero decir que no esté de acuerdo. Me parece que todas las restricciones que se puedan hacer al respecto, no están demás.
Lo primero que implementó, fue suspender los vuelos desde y hacia Europa, Colombia, Panamá y República Dominicana. La alarma comenzó en el centro del país y sus alrededores, para luego distribuirse en los demás estados. Siendo predominantemente mayor los casos confirmados, en el centro del país. Parece que en mi estado hay dos casos confirmados. Tengo mis dudas. Ha pasado mucho tiempo y los casos de contagios de esos positivos, aun no salen? no se que pasa.
Dice nuestro presidente que los casos suman en total 119 positivos en todo el país. Con 1 fallecido y otros tantos ya recuperados.
En la actualidad, las medidas preventivas aumentaron. No se permite salir después del mediodía. Los centros dispensadores de alimentos como supermercados quedan cerrados después del mediodía. Las panaderías después de las 5pm no laboran. No hay libre transito. Hay que tener permisos especiales para transitar, como lo es el permiso de transporte de alimentos.
No hay reuniones públicas. No se celebran misas. Es obligatorio el uso del tapabocas. Y las medidas de higiene son repetidas una y otra vez, como mecanismo personal para evitar el contagio.

I'm trying to cope with the situation in the best way. Nothing to do with boredom. I had a busy life without much rest. I live from sales, now with this situation, my economy is severely disrupted.
I can't expose myself to the visits of people who come to buy, so for now I don't sell. I had to fire the person who helps me at home, now my son and I do everything. We organize ourselves for it.
I spent much more time writing on this platform than doing anything else. Then there's that I don't go out on the phone. I can only take photos of my plants, of relatives I visited and to the places where they took me for a walk, but now it's not possible.
My son is having classes online. He is more active now than He was before going to school every day. Only the expenses of passage are saved, the rest remains the same.
Planting, transplanting and harvesting is a normal part of my days. I keep at it. The problem of drinking water supply through the aqueduct continues. We spend up to four days without receiving water through the pipelines.
Con todo esto, hay personas que se manifiestan en las calles con su opinión personal, de que aquí no está pasando nada. Y que todo es manipulación del estado. Hay de todo y para todos.
Estoy tratando de sobrellevar la situación de la mejor manera. Nada que ver con aburrimientos. Yo tenía una vida bien ocupada, sin mucho descanso. Vivo de las ventas, ahora con esta situación, mi economía está perturbada severamente.
No puedo exponerme a la visita de las personas que vengan a comprar, así que por ahora no vendo. Tuve que despedir a la persona que me ayuda en casa, ahora todo lo hacemos mi hijo y yo. Nos organizamos para ello.
Pasaba mucho más tiempo escribiendo en esta plataforma que haciendo otra cosa. Luego está que no salgo con el teléfono. Solo puedo tomar fotos de mis plantas, de familiares a los que visitaba y, a los sitios donde me llevaban de paseo, pero ahora no se puede.
Mi hijo está viendo clases por internet. Tiene más actividad ahora que antes que salía todos los días a clases. Solo se ahorra los gastos del pasaje, lo demás continua igual.
La siembra, el trasplante y la cosecha es parte normal de mis días. Continuo en ello. El problema del suministro de agua potable por el acueducto continua. Pasamos hasta cuatro días sin recibir agua por los ductos.

I can no longer go to church, or congregate with my group. I only read what happens in my groups thanks to whatsapp.
But the truth is that now I have less time to write on the platform, because my home activities increased. I must share the time at breakfast lunch and dinner. In cleaning tasks. In washing everything accumulated, when the water arrives. In collecting every day the disaster in my garden, product of the cat fights.
Boredom? nothing to see. Change of activities yes. Desserts are now for home consumption. Cupcakes, cookies are for the house.
Cuando siembro, trasplanto y cosecho hago mis fotos. para comentar la evolución de mi jardín. Hay nuevos frutos y nuevas flores. Estoy sembrando semillas de papas, a ver si me va mejor que la ´primera vez. Sembré muchas semillas pero creo que no todas germinan. Tengo que limitar mi tiempo de trabajo con la tierra, porque el polvo me da alergia nasal. En cuanto inició la irritación nasal, deje de sembrar y tomé un descanso. Ahora debo tomar las infusiones de mis yerbas para mejorar mi alergia.
Ya no puedo ir a la iglesia, ni congregarme con mi grupo. Solo leo lo que sucede en mis grupos gracias al whatsapp.
Pero lo cierto es que ahora tengo menos tiempo para escribir en la plataforma, porque mis actividades caseras aumentaron. Debo compartir el tiempo en el desayuno almuerzo y cena. En las tareas de limpieza. En lavar todo lo acumulado, cuando llegue el agua. En recoger todos los días el desastre en mi jardín, producto de las peleas de gatos.
Aburrimiento? nada que ver. Cambio de actividades si. Los postres ahora son para el consumo en casa. Las magdalenas, las galletas son para la casa.
Now I must avoid baking, because the gas in my kitchen comes from cylinders that are distributed by personal order. I have to wait patiently for the phone call to be answered, someday, and then continue with patience and wait for them to bring my gas bottle, when they consider it.

Ahora debo evitar hacer horneados, porque el gas de mi cocina es por bombonas que distribuyen por el pedido personal. Debo esperar con paciencia a que me atiendan la llamada de teléfono, algún día y luego seguir con paciencia y esperar que traigan mi bombona de gas, cuando ellos así lo consideren.
Esto es todo cuanto puedo agregar de mis actividades en los días de cuarentena.

Your rules are not as strict yet as hours. In the past days it changed nearly every day. Some do not make sense and if I read what doctors/ virology experts say it does not make sense at all not even washing hands. Let's see in 2-3 months where we stand. We have no mouth caps. The ones ordered for hospitals were at the border in a truck for days and now turns out 100,000 of them are not good. If they are not good the ones people make themselves are not either. 💕

Hay con mucha seguridad, muchísimos casos por allí que no sabemos que están infectados. No salir es lo mejor. Un buen recorrido que nos has dado, al igual que tú, ya que vivimos en la misma ciudad, no he visto casos cercanos, de hecho esos días casos ya fueron dados de alta, pero hay rumores de otro en observación en barrio lindo, la verdad es que hay personas en la calle, es la necesidad de comprar comida y realizar otras actividades necesarias, creo que en Venezuela tomaron tempranamente algunas medidas y el mismo venezolano por temor a enfermarse viendo que aquí no hay medicina, que los hospitales están en muy mal estado, se compraron o elaboraron tapa bocas, ya antes de declararlo veía a la gente en los autobuses con ellos.
