There wasn't a single time I didn't ponder on this love story, I just didn't have the guts to admit that it couldn't prevail.
I spent every minute of my day trying to accept the bitter truth of not wanting to nurture those emotions that seemed hopeless yet on the other hand I wished it blossom.

Maybe not enough to watch you slip away, not enough to not want to hold onto you, yet I had to let go because of the constant pain and fear of not having it to the end.
The fear of not staying true to these feelings for a longer time, then I realized along the line I was wrong.
I was wrong for letting go of the hands I wanted so much to hold onto
I was wrong for pushing behind my emotions and stretching forth for another with the hope that everything will work out in the end.
I was wrong for not giving this love a try
Perhaps I was afraid it wasn't the same with you or you didn't want the same
Though everything in me told me you weren't up to the task, and so I just had to look away and walk away too.
Now I'm living in that regret of not reaching out regardless and going back to the shadows, hoping you find me.
Hello there! It's a pleasure to have you here on my first post, I go by name hiddenshadows because most of my activities are done in the shadows. I had my doubts about this platform, but I guess it wouldn't hurt a fly to try surviving while on the look out for traps.
I am not promising anyone reading this a pleasant, smooth ride, there will surely be some bumps encountered along the line but I am willing to see how far and how long I can hold out here.
I do a lot of things to make ends meet and to survive cause I believe it's a lone world and everyone is only answerable to themselves first before another
Don't misquote me, I ain't a loner but most of the times, I prefer to be left alone and I dislike anyone disturbing my peace and intruding my privacy.
I keep off people lane and don't cross the limit if I am not granted permission and I expect the same for myself.
It's in my place to let the world see what I want the world to see, not because I'm compelled to, I'm never pressured nor compelled to do a thing without any consequences. And so I love to do things on my own accord with little or no surrounding pressures.
With that being said, I hope I am welcomed to a place as vast as this one.

Lately I’ve been saying to new comers that seem a good fit for Hive…. Be selfish.
Meaning post for yourself.
Treat hive like a digital diary of sorts. For me I use it like my creative public journal, part my music, poetry, fiction and musings… part my learning to edit and vlog…. Part my family memories and escapades.
But it all for me, and simply a bonus if others pay attention.
If you want more comment on your posts, comment more on others posts with something meaningful.
I use the 5 to 1 ratio… if I leave comments on 5 posts, I’m happy to get 1 in return.
Expect little from hive and it sneaks up and hugs you. Expect a lot from hive…. Leave disappointed.

I'm so glad that you like my intro post.
I've been putting it off for a few days until I finally made up my mind to let ME out.
So I'm so glad someone likes this part of me.
It's a public space, and I have also come to notice that people make here their public diary.
I would love to try it too, more reasons I like telling my story from the secrets, hence the reason for choosing to blog from the shadows.
I still have a lot to learn about the space, but I am definitely digesting as much as I can and doing what I can to catch up with others here.
And yes I will take your advice and just post for myself and not expect much from here.
