The HiveStreet Community presents...
The very first virtual parade on the Hive Blockchain!
This is a friendly competition run by @montycashmusic with judges @sketch.and.jam and @autobodhi. For this amazing virtual parade 1000 Hive is to be won by up to 20 people, each receiving 50 Hive each!
First, what is HiveStreet? It's a community dedicated to performance of all kind, street arts and live music on Hive. So feel free to cross-post or directly post your performances on HiveStreet even when the competition is over.
While live music plays a big part on HiveStreet and the Hive blockchain - performances and acts that include dance, performance art, juggling or circus acts - anything and everything - will get at least 10 of the 20 winning positions in this exciting competition parade!
If there are less than 20 entrants then the maximum that can be won by anyone is 50 Hive.
This event is planned to be run yearly, to promote live performance and live music on Hive!
Entries will be taken over a two week period starting today the 16th of June and ending approximately on the 30th of June - winners will be announced the following week by approximately the 7th of July and prizes will then be given.
Ok so here are the conditions of entry:
Subscribe to the HiveStreet Community
Make a video of a performance dedicated to this event. You must mention your username at the start of the video and you must say that it is for this event. For example - "Hi I am @your-username-goes-here and this performance/song/video is for the first HiveStreet Parade Extravaganza!" - it must be a continuous video (you cannot cut a video into pieces and put in an intro afterwards). This is to ensure the authenticity of the performance that it is a video dedicated for this event.
Put the #virtualbusking tag on your video.
Place your peakd, hive.blog or Hive relevant blog link with your video link in the comments to this entry blog post.

While not a condition, it is encouraged that each performer check out and vote on other performer's videos to promote a robust and active performance community on the Hive Blockchain

Nice one guys! I wonder if skateboarding videos can be included in this contest! Skateboarding was born on the streets so I guess that's ok right?
Absolutely! As long as it's a dedicated video for the event. I've seen all sorts on the streets of the world doing their thing as an act and skating is not far from my mind when I think of this. I was a pretty keen skater myself when I was 15.

I'd wish mate. Believe me. But since I am under a so crappy and lousy internet connection since long time ago, I'm afraid it will be as hard to do it as try to sweep a staircase upwards. Hahahaha
That might actually make a great performance art. Sweeping a staircase upwards I mean. Lol

I will transfer 50 hive to you now. To be honest I thought more people would get involved, seeing as how easy it was to make some Hive.
