Finally I finished with a job that took me longer than I had planned (I must learn to be simpler with the drawings in the guides) I still want to return everything to relative normality, but I finally came out of the old and Now I can make and prioritize my new goals, like some illustrations that I have in mind for a while, and think how to make a tutorial on how to draw with colored pencils ^ _ ^, so I have to think of a couple of art proposals traditional, MY GOD! I just figured that I have not done a traditional work for more than a year, it is that I like digital and for my great plans for the future, even so it is not an excuse to neglect the traditional. ^ _ ^

The theme of the drawing guide is about beings full of magic, in reality they are the representation of magic itself and of children's dreams "the fairies" there is no doubt that they are the most popular beings in fantasy, there are stories about them in all the cultures and traditions around the world, which we always imagine in the form of beautiful women, sometimes very small, almost tiny, who have beautiful, diaphanous butterfly wings on their backs. When we think of drawing magic, rest assured that fairies will be one of the first ideas that come to our minds, to inspire us with all their magic. ^ _ ^

Fairies are extraordinary beings very similar in appearance to humans, specifically to the female gender, despite being very similar, they have slight differences in some proportions "it is not just putting butterfly wings on a girl to turn her into a fairy"

The head

The designs of the fairies are very varied, their head is the same as the human in a stylized way, to give them a fragile and very feminine appearance, the most notable differences are that they should always be drawn with large eyes and pointed ears, it is recommended place insect antennas although this aspect is optional

With slight changes it can be given a more fanciful appearance by enlarging the retina covering almost the entire eye, also when dealing with tiny beings a flower like a hat can be added as an accessory.

The body proportion

Hadas-3.gif

The morphology of a fairy is that of a very thin girl, where it is most noticeable in the extremities, which are longer than normal, only the legs measure more than the rest of the body.

The hairstyles

Fairy hair must express magic, fantasy, passion and a strong bond with nature.

Hadas-4.gif

Straight with curves near the tips, with a length below the shoulders.

Hadas-5.gif

This funny hairstyle gives the appearance of a flower bud or an onion.

Hadas-6.gif

Short with lots of volume, it's a classic hairstyle in many old fantasy movies

Hadas-7.gif

Long with many curves in various directions, it is a very magical hairstyle.

Hadas-8.gif

Straight and very long following a fluid line of movement.

Hadas-9.gif

Permed hairstyles look great in fairies,

Hadas-10.gif

When adding pigtails they should be greatly exaggerated with the shape of these.

You should be very flamboyant with your hairstyles and use many undulations, you should play a lot with the curved lines and apply smooth strokes.

The wings

The most important characteristic of a fairy is its wings, which are very similar to those of butterflies, these are very easy to do.

Hadas-11.gif

To make your base you just have to visualize it as two drops of water in the upper part in large, and the lower part in smaller..

Hadas-12.gif

Al tener lista la base se, procede adornar las alas dividiéndolas en paneles, similar a las marcas de las mariposas.

Hadas-13.gif

PThe symmetry in the wings is very important, both should look the same as if it were a mirror reflection.

The designs that can be achieved with the wings are very varied.

Hadas-16.png

The orientation of the body affects how the wings look.

The dressing

As for fairy costumes, this is made with natural elements typical of a forest, such as tree leaves and petals of various flowers

Hadas-17.gif

The most common designs are ballet dancer dresses, which are made only using leaves.

Hadas-18.gif

The long dresses in a diagonal cut are to represent the most hierarchical fairies such as fairy godmothers.

Hadas-19.gif

When dressing a fairy, you should only opt for natural elements, as in this proposal that is made with petals, for the blouse a single petal of a large flower was used, instead the skirt was made with many petals of a rose.

To consider when creating a fairy

Hadas-20.gif

The wings should be translucent showing a certain level of opacity.

Hadas-21.gif

Many factors must be taken into account when drawing a fairy, and the best way to represent them in the drawing is by flying.

Hadas-22.gif

Remember to constantly change the costumes, hairstyle and characteristics of the wings with each new drawing, these changes create new characters.
