Nací en San Antonio del Táchira, Venezuela, frontera con Colombia; un lugar donde convergen culturas (que por cierto, no son muy distantes), costumbres, dolores y alegrías. Viví allí toda mi infancia y adolescencia, una ciudad tranquila hasta donde cabe, pues, evidentemente, como en toda frontera, hay conflictos, pero digamos que es un lugar donde se puede vivir bien.
Hello Hive community, my name is Camilo Pabón, I am 25 years old. I was born in San Antonio del Táchira, Venezuela, on the border with Colombia; a place where cultures, customs, pains and joys converge. I lived there all my childhood and adolescence, a quiet city as far as possible, because, obviously, as in any border, there are conflicts, but let's say that it is a place where you can live well.
Sin embargo, hay algo que no me gusta de San Antonio y es el calor; afortunadamente en mi época universitaria me fui a vivir a la ciudad de San Cristóbal, capital del estado Táchira. En San Cristóbal la temperatura es más agradable, ni muy caliente ni muy frío. Amo esa ciudad entre montañas. Tengo muy bueno recuerdos de ella, mi vida universitaria transcurrió ahí, conocí muchas personas que espero volver a ver pronto.
However, there is something that I do not like about San Antonio and it is the heat; Fortunately, in my university days, I went to live in the city of San Cristóbal, capital of the state of Táchira. In San Cristóbal the temperature is more pleasant, neither too hot nor too cold. I love that city between mountains. I have very good memories of her, my university life passed there, I met many people that I hope to see again soon.
Como comentaba, me fui a estudiar a San Cristóbal, hice la carrera de Derecho en la Universidad Católica del Táchira, me gradué en 2018, trabajé un tiempo en la Policía municipal de San Cristóbal y ese mismo año emigré a donde actualmente estoy: Bogotá, Colombia. Acá en Bogotá llegué a hacer unos trabajos de obra, también como asistente de proveedor de mercancías y actualmente trabajo en un Call Center.
As I mentioned, I went to study in San Cristóbal, I did a law degree at the Universidad Católica del Táchira, I graduated in 2018, I worked for a time in the San Cristóbal Municipal Police and that same year I emigrated to where I currently am: Bogotá, Colombia. Here in Bogotá I got to do some construction work, also as a merchandise supplier assistant and currently I work in a Call Center.
Generalmente me movilizo con mi bicicleta en Bogotá, sobre todo si no tengo que recorrer grandes distancias. Al trabajo me movilizaba en bicicleta, pero actualmente trabajo en la casa, así que en estos momentos no la estoy usando (Por cierto, eso me recuerda que está pinchada, tengo que repararla). Unas de las desventajas que veo del trasportarse en bicicleta es que acá en Bogotá llueve mucho, por tanto, uno queda bastante expuesto a mojarse o resfriarse, obviamente hay indumentaria especial para protegerse de le lluvia, pero igualmente uno se moja.
I generally move around with my bicycle in Bogotá, especially if I don't have to travel long distances. I used to get around by bike to work, but currently I work around the house, so right now I'm not using it (By the way, that reminds me that it's punctured, I have to repair it). One of the disadvantages that I see when traveling by bicycle is that here in Bogotá it rains a lot, therefore, one is quite exposed to getting wet or cold, obviously there is special clothing to protect oneself from the rain, but one gets wet.
Bueno, como verán, ya sea por hábito o por gusto, soy un lector moderado. Me gusta estar informándome y tener siempre algo que leer. El último libro que leí fue el Banquero Anarquista de Fernando Pessoa, que por cierto lo recomiendo. Por lo demás, me gusta el rock (en mi adolescencia tocaba la guitarra, debo recuperar ese hobby) y el fútbol. Fiel seguidor de la Vinotinto, que nos ha traído más penas que alegrías, pero qué le hacemos, así es el fútbol.
Well, you see, whether out of habit or pleasure, I am a moderate reader. I like to keep up-to-date and always have something to read. The last book I read was Fernando Pessoa's Anarchist Banker, which I certainly recommend. For the rest, I like rock (in my adolescence I played the guitar, I must recover that hobby) and soccer. A loyal follower of Vinotinto, which has brought us more sorrow than happiness, but what do we do to it, that's how soccer is.
Mi ánime favorito es Dragon ball, quizá más por nostalgia que por su argumento. De las primeras cosas que empecé a ver en la tv fue Dragon ball Z, de estos personajes empecé a hacer mis primeros dibujos. Mi personaje predilecto es Vegeta, quizá porque es bajito como yo; ¡ja,ja,ja,ja!
Creo que también se me da bien dibujar, he acá algunos de los dibujos que he realizado. En primer lugar, el último que hice, aunque hace bastante tiempo, de la actriz británica Natalie Dormer. El siguiente está en proceso, es el personaje Tywin Lanniester, de la serie Game Of Thrones. Espero finalizarlo este fin de semana.

Me gusta también hablar, debatir, comentar sobre temas de nuestra realidad social. Así que tal vez mi aporte en Hive.blog, en su mayoría, sea sobre artículos relacionados con temas sociales. Me guasta generar debate y ver otros puntos de vista que tengan las personas sobre determinado tema, o simplemente comentar, comentar sobre alguna problemática social. Sin embargo, como tengo otros intereses y gustos, seguramente también hablaré sobre otras cosas no tan relacionadas con temas sociales.
No siendo más, espero contribuir activamente al crecimiento de esta comunidad. Participando en sus dinámicas, relacionándome con ustedes los usuarios, y explorar todo aquello que me hace falta por saber de esta llamativa plataforma en la medida que interactúe con ustedes.

I also like to talk, debate, comment on issues of our social reality. So maybe my Hive.blog input is mostly about articles related to social issues. I am happy to generate debate and see other points of view that people simply have on a certain topic, or comment, comment on some social problem. However, as I have other interests and tastes, surely I will also talk about other things not so related to social issues.
