Hope, A Beautiful thing.

What a bright and wonderful morning it is today I couldn't have hoped for a better one. In one way or the other we all have hope for something, something good of course. Some of us may not even be aware of it or may have given our hopes a different name such as wish, desire, expectations, goals, ambitions and the list continues but one important thing is they are all the same. To define hope, I'll simply put, its is an expectation, we have, of a particular thing, usually the things we don't have at the moment.

Hope cut across everything and every area of life, from the great to the small. The pessimist hopes for things to come up fine and as well as the optimists, well they hope for things to go their way. Different religions can be connected with this same word, hope, The Christians hope as well as the Muslims and Buddhist and the Jews. Once upon a time, i had no interest in hive now I hope for more value for hive. A mother hopes that her child become successful. A business man hopes for better sales, a little boy hopes the rain doesn't fall so he can play outside. A sickling hopes to get well.

Hope unites people. A single person can hope and a group of people can hope collectively for a thing. A Leader hopes for good administration and the followers hopes for good administrators.

Hope doesn't provide any sort of nutrition to our body but it keeps a man alive. We sleep at night not knowing what may happen but we hope to wake up to a bright beautiful morning with little birds singing. Hope nourishes our soul, it gives purpose, it gives direction. Hope defines a person.

So what happens when our hopes don't come through? What happens when it rains and the little boy can't play outside? What happens when you don't get that contract? You don't give up on it, you keep hoping, keep trying, keep working. It may seem like it'll amount to nothing, but something is cooking up. Challenges are there for our benefit embrace it.

Romans 8:24-25
[24]For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
[25]But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

Think

of a woman who has to carry a baby for nine months, the pain she has to go through just to bring the baby, you, into this world. On the day of delivery, she goes through a different kind of pain altogether but she endures because she knows it's not for nothing and hopes to birth a beautiful creature. At the time of birth, her status changes, she now becomes a mother and the Joy overwhelms the initial pain. Words can't express this joy. This same Joy can be seen in the eyes of that little boy who finally gets the chance to play in a bright day, the contractor who finally lands that contract.

When, eventually, we get what we hoped for, Our strength to hope only gets stronger, we keep on hoping knowing that we will get it.

What do you Hope for? Don't give up keep pushing. There's light at the end of the tunnel and with that light comes Joy.
