RE: The Hive Engagement League 🏆

Didnt know we were having a pissing match.. 👍🏼

You’ve missed all my points, even though I explained them.. I don’t have a “concern” people use exchanges.. I was saying stating people need to stop trying to do new things or point out issues (the comment I was responding to) rather just sponsor Ashers league .. is naive and absurd.

Glad we could find the solution to all things though.

Sort:

No pissing match.

Solution was mutually found and it’s done. Rest is up to Ash.

Onwards...

Let me make this really clear since you aren’t hearing me -

Ashers league is great, I’m a fan.. but it actually solves no issues. It’s a bandaid on a wound gushing blood.

It doesn’t fix anything.

If we don’t stop the bleeding, the issue will continue. Asher can’t solve all the issues of the platform. I mean I like Asher, but his charts can’t do that alone.

Thank you for the sponsorship HIVE, and thank you again for the work behind the scenes which will, and not for the fault of the general populace, never get the appreciation it deserves.

I'm going to use a couple of lame analogies.... raising a child, and managing a submarine.

To me, there is no one solution to nurturing a child, or keeping the people alive on a sub - both require multiple 'bandages' and the connected parties to be doing their bit. There is an on-going, ever changing set of duties, and washing all the dirty clothes, or fixing all the leaks one day isn't going to mean much in the longer term, unless the community of people involved continue doing their bit.

The league has proven to patch a leak and retain some users, it is one of the many small holes patched up, which is the only way you can keep a sub afloat - many patches.

I would love to see this sort of thing built into the UI's, it would definitely scale better longer term.

Thanks again for the sponsorship, I'll continue patching until I'm no longer required.
