yes, sugar is difficult to cut down on.
lately, i boil some milk and put semolina in, with some honey, and have it for breakfast. i find it helps, and is healthy too. maybe u could try with porridge instead of semolina, and see what happens?

I like making something similar but with palenta and cooking or dark chocolate. I love oats with honey :) We mostly eat salty breakfasts now.
