What is SpaceX?
SpaceX is a private American aerospace manufacturer and space transportation company with the aim of colonizing Mars. The company was founded by real-life Iron Man, tech savvy Billionaire Elon Musk, who is also responsible for companies such as Tesla and PayPal.

Launch postponed due to bad weather
Robert Behnken and Doug Hurley who are 2 NASA astronauts, were set to take off and launch on May 27th 2020, but due to bad weather, the launch was postponed.
Many spectators who all came to witness this historic event were extremely disappointed. Such spectators included the U.S. President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence, Elon Musk (SpaceX CEO) and many current and retired astronauts.
One couple even drove all night with their daughter all the way from Tennessee through to Florida to witness the historic event, only to be faced with disappointment from the launch being postponed.
Why couldn’t they launch during bad weather?
The Crew Dragon capsule needs to intercept with the International Space Station which is 250 miles above the ground on Earth, so perfect timing, precision and weather conditions are needed for the capsule to intercept with the International Space Station
Next Launch Dates
The launch has now been scheduled to take place on Saturday 30th May at 3:22pm. There is a 60% chance the weather will permit the launch, failing which it will launch the next day on Sunday 31st May… however ironically there is also only a 60% chance of weather permitting the launch on this day too! So let’s see if it actually launches (holding thumbs).
Want to watch the event live?
If you are interested in watching this historic event, there will be a live stream of the launch on Saturday.
NASA will be live streaming the event on their YouTube channel and on their website (links are below).

It seems Neil Armstrong was right in his famous saying of “That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind” as we are indeed making leaps into space exploration.

Very cool!Cool!Wow!
Awesome post! It's a really exciting time for space travel - first the space station, then the moon and soon we will be sending people to Mars, I'm sure!
Just in time too !!
Just watched this historical event. Thanks Lee - if not for your blog I would have missed it. Proud of you.
Yeah so glad we all see the launch
Thanks for your entry...As a visitor here from another planet sent to study your species I appreciate the space-reference. I'll report back to my superiors to expect to the SpaceX whizzing by at some point.
Thanks for your entry and supporting the posting initiative.
Glad to make your acquaintance sir. What galaxy are you from ?
Lol.
I've been sworn to secrecy and cannot divulge the location of my home planet. In fact, I have said too much even now, revealing I am indeed a visitor from outer space. I think I can trust that no one will know though, I mean information is safe and secure on the internet right?
I believe you're 100% safe on our internet. All secrets remain secret.
Although many were disappointed that the original launch didn’t happen, I find myself lucky because I would’ve missed it since I haven’t heard about it. Now I know about it and can witness the coming event. Thanks so much for sharing this!
I'm so glad you saw my post then - yes, this is surely a historical event not to be missed. Thanks for supporting my post
