The great botanical diversity of my city

Maracay is known throughout Venezuela as the Garden City

Maracay is a hot land, with climatic characteristics that make it unique and exotic at the same time, my hometown has a peculiarity, is that as we are in a tropical country there are different climates in the same geographical territory. Our small Garden City has been adorned for many years by certain silent and kind inhabitants, these inhabitants are these trees, from Quiebra-hachos, Samanes, Carocaros, and other acacias of enormous sizes and leafy foliage.

The urban profile of the city of Maracay is characterised by the amount of trees that are found in the great majority of the zones of public interest, from squares, corridors, parks, promenades and boulevards, the trees have been present for some decades.

Near where I live there is a promenade called Merida Avenue, there you can find any number of trees that have been there for decades, even some of these trees are heritage of the municipality due to their antiquity.

In the photographs that I am sharing in this publication you will notice the skeleton of one of these beautiful giants that has almost all its branches bare due to the season we are in, this tree is called Carocaro, it is one of the 5 trees of this species that are in this corridor, it is impressive how its naked skeleton adorns the scene of the place in a very special and peculiar way.

Trees are one of God's best creations, they are beautiful, noble, beautiful and provide us with oxygen and food, without trees life would not be possible.

That is why I am making this publication as a tribute to these beautiful giants who are usually the main protagonists of my photographs that I take every day when I pass by.

La grandiosa diversidad botánica de mi ciudad

Maracay es reconocida en toda Venezuela como la ciudad Jardín

Maracay es una tierra caliente, con características climáticas que la hacen única y exótica a la vez, mi ciudad natal tiene una peculiaridad, es que como estamos en un país tropical hay distintos clima en un mismo territorio geográfico. Nuestra pequeña Ciudad Jardín, la adornan desde hace muchos años algunos ciertos habitantes silenciosos y bondadosos, estos habitantes son estos árboles, desde Quiebra-hachos, Samanes, Carocaros, y otras acacias de enormes tamaños y frondosos follages.

El perfil urbano de la ciudad de Maracay está caracterizado por la cantidad de árboles que se encuentras en la gran mayoría de las zonas de interés público, desde plazas, corredores, parques, paseos y bulevares, los árboles están presentes desde hace algunas décadas.

Cerca de donde vivo queda un paseo el cual se llama Av. Mérida, ahí puedes encontrar cualquier cantidad de árboles que están desde hace algunas décadas, incluso algunos de estos árboles son patrimonio del municipio debido a la antigüedad de los mismos.

En las fotografías que estoy compartiendo en esta publicación podrán notar el esqueleto de uno se estos hermosos gigantes que tiene casi todo su ramificación desnuda debida a la temporada en la que estamos, este árbol es un que se llama Carocaro, es uno de los 5 árboles de esa especie que se encuentran en este corredor, es impresionante como su esqueleto desnudo engalana la escena del lugar de una forma bastante especial y peculiar.

Los árboles son una de las mejores creaciones de Dios, son bellos, nobles, hermosos y nos proporcionan oxígeno y alimentos, sin árboles la vida no podría ser posible.

Es por ello que hago esta publicación en tributo a estos hermosos gigantes quienes suelen ser los principales protagonistas de mis fotografías que suelo tomar a diario cuando paso por ahí.
