Grateful for the opportunity offered by our friend @theycallmedan

What better opportunity does it give me to be able to share with my dear readers everything I have to say about the land that saw me born, that nation full of beautiful, warm, gentle, kind people; that nation multi-diverse in its culture and in its natural wealth and physical spaces, I speak to you about my beloved Venezuela.

My beloved Mother

My roots, my country, my motherland!

I'm proudly Venezuelan. I was born one day in July, over there in 1964. On a somewhat complex day because my mother, Genara Silva, did not want to give birth in a hospital institution. All her deliveries had been attended by a midwife, so she didn't want to stay in the hospital and ran away. Mother's feat. She literally went into labor. Therefore she did not reach her destination because we lived far away from there. Once we managed to escape, there was no chance but to get to a friend's house and in fact, I was born there. Arriving and being born. She, her friend, of course, was and still is, she is still alive; my godmother Cecilia.

My beloved Mother ... thanks to her I am here with you

I told you how I came to this sphere of life. Well, take note because as complex as my arrival was, my life has been exciting and very complex, because of your few adventures.

Grateful for all the days I have lived

I've been a lucky woman. Since I was a child I have traveled all over my beautiful country. The first time I went out of Maracay, the city where I was born, I went to visit, with Antonio, one of my older brothers, the city of Merida, capital of the state of Merida, one of the beautiful Andean states of my nation. I honor the memory of my brother Antonio, today he is no longer with us. Merida is a beautiful city, today it is going through a lot of complex situations and I know that we will be able to continue enjoying one of the beautiful tourist destinations of my country. Its people are cordial and hospitable. In Merida I have been able to be in its rural and urban areas. It is a purely agricultural and tourist state, which once had a great deal of university life. A girl usually filled its streets and avenues, hamlets, inns and hotels. Of those days I have no photographs.

I treasure something better: beautiful memories

Since I was a child, I have also been on the Venezuelan coast. Water, sea, sun, beautiful beaches, some beaches with lots of waves and others with warm and calm waters. The coast of the state of Aragua, of course, was the first place I met with my brother Moisés, with whom I traveled a lot of time through the beaches of Ocumare de la Costa, Cata, Cuyagua and other beaches in the east of the country, like Playa Colorada. I honor my brother's memory. He is no longer with us for many years. Beautiful beaches, open sea, beaches with a lot of waves, and; the best thing, to taste a fish at the edge of the beach and some of the delicious gastronomic proposals offered by the women who sell sweets in all these coasts.

In each area of the coast there is a gastronomic proposal that is usually a delicacy for goddess that can also be tasted by gods.

I reached my teens. I was already an avowed reader and now I wanted to continue traveling alone. That's how I got to know Choroní, open sea, big waves, part of the coast of the state of Aragua; and; Chichiriviche, inland sea, calm waters in most of its keys or islets; part of the inland coast in the state of Falcón. Every time I had a vacation I went to some of these places. In fact, in those places I have been able to spend many moons and have been able to watch beautiful sunrises and sunsets in the company of my affections, my children, my granddaughters.

With Raymar and Rannya ... my older granddaughters ... I love them

I could spend hours telling stories of each of my trips because fortunately, I had already said it, I am a lucky woman, I know my beautiful and beloved Venezuela. I have known it through academic, technical and professional activities. I love to do tourism in my nation. I did so with my children and then with my grandchildren and grandson. I also know her for adventure tourism, health tourism and ecological tourism.

What can I say now?

I am @marlenyaragua, a woman grateful to #pachamama because she has allowed me to watch the Miracle of Life ... By the way, I invite you to use the #pachamama tag so you can share your encounters with Mother Nature all over the globe. I created this label on the days of the launch of the HIVE Blog platform. Pachamama has no boundaries and is not divided into sections or sects. Languages are codes of communication for human beings who cohabit in their territorial spaces. Mother Nature is the closest thing to that mother who brought us into the world and gave us that privilege of living. We are eternally grateful to the Venezuelan soil for sheltering us and giving us the opportunity to continue transforming adversity into our best option in life.

I've had the opportunity to visit foreign territories. Sometimes because of academic or research commitments; other times because of work commitments and in some opportunities I have been able to visit some countries as a tourist with a great sensitivity to know physical natural spaces or agro-ecosystems. I have visited my son in Bogotá and I have been able to share with him in several places in that controversial city. For all the above reasons I can tell you that I would never stop living in my beloved Venezuela. My trips are suddenly back. I would never stop tasting the Venezuelan gastronomy with its delicacies and Creole food that I love. Although I am a lover of Sensorial Food I can tell you that in our country there are the most exquisite ingredients; among them, the spices that we harvest in the gardens of our houses and the incomparable sweet chili, unique in the world. With its varieties that go from the eastern zone, the plain zone and the Andean zone.

Finally I can tell you that my Venezuela has great beaches and coastal areas, rivers, lakes and reservoirs. It has multi-diverse landscapes because we have mountain areas, mangrove areas, humid forests, savannas, plains, estuaries, and diverse wetlands. We are a nation with one of the greatest reserves of biodiversity in the world, with a diversity of landscapes, interculturality in each region and we are cordial, friendly people who practice empathy and speaking from my being, I am able to say that we are a country of great human talent capable of undertaking multi-diverse tasks to achieve the full development of our nation.

Grateful for sharing with you these words on this day full of many blessings
