Hi OCD community,
This is my introduction post! Hope to get to know some of you all better too.
My name is Matthew and my day job is working as a global creative advertising agency professional.
As a marketing consultant I mainly deal with social media strategies and brand positioning stuff.
I was born in Johannesburg South Africa and emigrated to The Netherlands nearly 3 years ago. I love both countries but of course they are very different worlds.
My interests include tech, language learning (Nederlands & Portugues) , art, fantasy literature (Game of thrones ,Magic the gathering, DnD stuff), basic fitness & boxing , partying with friends, and some gaming (Playing mainly Startcraft 2 , Minecraft and Mortal Kombat 11 at the moment)
I am also of course a passionate crypto evangelist & investor and although I have not been involved very long over the past year I have completed 3 online courses on the subject to build my knowledge on subjects such as Crypto investing, Blockchain fundamentals and Smart Contract use cases.
At the moment I am trying to delve further into the world of NFTs and SingularityNet, so if you would like to discuss either of those or can recommend some good resources to me please do.

Haha, thank you @joanstewart ! Yes the colonial history between the SA and NL runs deep. Since moving to NL, you really see the impact the VoC (Dutch East India company) had on the world from the 1600s. Other colonial trade routes included Suriname, Indonesia, Curacao islands. Even New York was once called New Amsterdam. :-) Regarding my topics and sharing here on Peakd/Hive I'm thinking of of making some blogs on topics like crypto investing, language acquisition , gaming and maybe some more chilled casual photography/lifestyle stuff. thank you for the welcome.

Wow you certainly have lots of interests, and that's great as that gives you so much opportunity to reach out, or into, the different communities on Hive and expand your network. Post in the relevant ones and engage, is the key on Hive, and will help in the long run.
I don't know much about the art world and NFT on Hive but I know verifying your identity is important to protect yourself and your work. Maybe you can checkout the art communities and the community leaders for the best way to go about it.
