Lots to chew on here. I find it fascinating that violence has in many ways been divorced from strength, dexterity, height etc by technology. An old lady with a .357 can kill anyone.

I wonder if this is better or worse. Considering that many of the people who are in power are more likely nerds who got picked on when young, does it affect their wielding of power as adults?
They wield policemen who wield weapons. No need to dirty your own hands when you have henchmen.
The weak buy the services of the strong, and the strong think it is worth the payckeck so as to pay back their consumption debts to the weak. Indebted service.
