My Hive Introduction Post

in OCD3 months ago

Hello Hiveblockchain, my name is Dayan Mika

I am from Lagos and I’m really happy to finally be here. Joining Hive is something I’ve been thinking about for a while, so being here now really feels good, like it's the right timing.

I am from a city that is always busy, always moving, Lagos state is the new York of Nigeria, but a new York City on steroids and somehow still feels like home at the end of the day. I graduated from Lagos State University in 2018, where I studied Civil Engineering. That journey was not an easy one for me, but it’s one I’m proud of because it taught me endurance and how to stay focused even when things become stressful.
My journey to Hive is thanks to a friend of mine who is into forex trading. He was always talking about blockchain, online opportunities and how people were building something for themselves here. At first, I didn’t really pay much attention because I am a very busy person and make have much to do at the time, But with time, I adjusted my time and got in touch with my friend and he showed me the steps, explained things in a simple way, and encouraged me to give it a try. That was how I found myself here today.

At the moment, I live alone, away from my family. To be honest, it has its own challenges, but it has also helped me grow in ways I didn’t expect. Living alone has taught me responsibility, independence, and how to really understand myself. You get to a point where you become your own motivation and your own support system.
I am a very easy-going person and I like to keep life simple. I enjoy meeting new people, learning new things and having meaningful conversations. One of the reasons I’m excited about being here is the chance to connect with people from different countries and different backgrounds. That, for me, is something I truly look forward to.
On Hive, I plan to share my real experiences, things happening around me, what I’m learning, my thoughts about life, and sometimes my challenges too. I don’t want this to just be a place where I post and leave. I want to grow here, interact with people, support others and also be supported.
It honestly feels like an honor to be part of this blockchain, and I’m grateful to my friend who introduced me to it because without him I probably wouldn’t be here.

Thank you for taking your time to read about me. I am looking forward to meeting new people, making friends and building something meaningful on this platform.
You’re all welcome to my blog 🤝
