Today's painting is of these two buildings in bright sunlight. There is a beautiful shadow across the lane cast by the trees which are out of frame.

The bright white buildings with the cast shadows and dark green surrounding shines in the light. Getting the light and shadows right is the key in this painting.

This is more of a one point perspective and can see the lines converging to a point on the street. The sketch needed to be precise on this.

Started with the sky and the background green. Then the buildings and finally the tree in foreground.

The violet tends to lighten when dry, the shadows needed to be little more darker. Otherwise it looks fine

Those are cool paintings! By the way, it would be better if you could post in art dedicated communities such as On Chain Art but you can still crosspost to OCD for extra visibility. As OCD only for general blog posts that don' t fit in any of the communities we are supporting and curating.

PS : noticed you already posted in OCA and knows about it. So maybe next time, you can use cross-posting feature to OCD.

Ok 👍😊
