Two months ago, my friends and I went to the handling area for wild elephants in the intermediate forest. This is my first experience of adventure in the forest area. In this place there are also tame elephants, as we know, elephants are protected and endangered animals.
Dua bulan yang lalu aku bersama teman-teman pergi ke tempat penanganan gajah liar di hutan negeri antara. Ini merupakan pengalaman pertama saya berpetualangan di hutan daerah tersebut. Ditempat ini juga ada gajah jinak, seperti yang kita ketahui, gajah merupakan binatang yang lindungi dan hampir punah.
To get to this place, we had to travel about 5 hours by motorbike. Because the condition of the road to the place is still rocky and many hills. We had to pass through rivers and vast forests.
Untuk menempuh perjalan ke tempat ini, kami harus menempuh perjalanan sekitar 5 jam dengan mengendarai sepeda motor. Karena kondisi jalan menuju ke tempat tersebut masih berbatu dan banyak perbukitan. Kami harus melewati sungai dan hutan yang luas.
After we had a very tiring journey, we finally arrived at the place we were going to. When we arrived at this place, our fatigue paid off when we saw the activities of the handlers or commonly known as MAHOUT accompanying and bathing the tame elephant.
Setelah kami menempuh perjalanan yang sangat melelahkan, akhirnya kami tiba ditempat yang kami tuju. Ketika kami sampai di tempat ini, rasa lelah kami terbayarkan ketika melihat aktivitas para pawang atau biasa disebut dengan MAHOUT sedang mengiring dan memandikan gajah jinak tersebut.
