Emery had it rough man. I still feel for the guy because despite being shyte at managing Arsenal in our difficult period, he seemed like a pretty nice guy

Yeah it's always difficult to follow in the wake of a legend like Wenger - sure it wasn't so good the last few seasons but he revolutionised the game and oversaw the move to the Emirates, Invincibles, which is still not repeated - unlucky Liverpool!

Thing is, Emery did have a good run, think there were 22 games undefeated in all comps at one stage and got to the final of the Europa league... dunno, the dressing room didn't seem right though and I'd say there wasn't really a strategy with the formation, team tweaks and again, deadwood players..

Especially the Deadwood man man. Way too many players with uncertainties hovering over their head. The squad also seemed out of shape and jaded at times, like they weren't connecting with his training or something.

When Arteta came in, he obviously pushed them beyond any previous training they had with Emery. The fact the players "ran out of steam" half way through games goes to show the point you just made - "weren't connecting with his training".

Think there'll be some "behind closed doors" matches to finish the season from what I've read. Can't see how the FA is going to fork out 55 million to TV companies.

Probably the most likely situation, and the best out of the options.

Yeah definitely. With lockdown still happening at least until Mid May here in the UK, it might be a rush to the end to get all those matches in! Think the fitness of the players will probably have diminished a little bit over this time as well and maybe a lot will only be able to make it to half time!
