After the deliberation of the community leaders/moderators of Architecture & Design Community, we now have the winners! Special thanks to @discoveringarni and @storiesoferne for their tireless efforts in making sure that the community is well-managed especially during the surge of activity in that community.

Before the announcement of winners, let's have a look first at how the Architecture & Design Community has changed in terms of subscribers and engagements.

Before:

Now:

The purpose of the screenshots is to see how the community is doing before the contest and then after the contest. The most notable change in Architecture & Design Community is the increase in the number of subscribers from 174 to 245. That's 40.80% increase! Another is the increase in active users from 58 to 108. That's 86.21% increase! Not bad for the first community boost contest! For the weekly interactions, it increased from 339 to 813. That's 139.82% increase in weekly interactions! For the pending payouts, it increased from 683 to 1371. That's 100.73% increase!

Another notable metric is the number of blogs posted in the community within the contest period. For that, the reference would be the curation report done by @aplusd. Please refer to the link below:

That's a record of 38 posts curated by OCD within that period of the contest! The prize pool might have added some motivation:

That means the winners will receive:

1st Place: 35% of the rewards of the contest post = 13.04 HBD + 43.72 HP
2nd Place: 25% of the rewards of the contest post = 9.31 HBD + 31.23 HP
3rd Place: 20% of the rewards of the contest post = 7.45 HBD + 24.98 HP
4th Place: 10% of the rewards of the contest post = 3.72 HBD + 12.49 HP
5th Place: 10% of the rewards of the contest post = 3.72 HBD + 12.49 HP

Note: We decided to reward in HP instead of liquid HIVE.

Finally...

Here are the winners:

First Place: @sahiba-rana

Expressionist Signature Landmark- Lotus Temple.

Basically the structure resembles the half open lotus flower which is vividly visible also there are actually nine petals and water bodies surrounded between each of them. I could see contour on the site considering the fact that Delhi has flat topography but the contour here were very interestingly used. almost half of the structure has nothing but earth below it and rest of it have a bottom level and those are used for administrative purposes which can be spotted on the picture above.

Second Place: @lizelle

Caribbean Villas in Africa?

Way down south on the African East Coast in Kwazulu Natal, lies a secure private eco-estate in a lush tropical setting, dotted with unique Caribbean style villas. This is a true paradise for nature lovers with scenic boardwalks through a conservation area down to the river estuary; a wooden jetty ideal for fishing or relaxing, watching the Egyptian Geese family as well as seeing the odd fish jumping out of the calm waters.

Third Place: @melbourneswest

OCD Challenge - Architecture + Design: Urban Cities

Further impacting the design process is that Australia is a multicultural society and in my community alone there are over 156 different nationalities that call our municipality home. 40% of residents are born overseas so it is important that you capture everyone's wants and needs into the planning process to ensure successful thriving suburbs.

Fourth Place: @qwerrie

Moscow Triumph Gates. Part 1: years 1833-1900

Being an amateur photographer (not an architect at all), I prefer to bring original material to this blockchain, such as my own photographs. But I'm really obsessed with history and historical photos of the life that have gone a long ago, and my city of St.Petersburg in particular. I have accumulated a huge pile of interesting black and white stuff I would love to share ... but I am not its author! therefore, as a rule, I dont hold my breath and all the stuff just wait quietly :)

Fifth Place: @juecoree

Breathing new life to ruins

In 2004, the City of Paris hosted a design competition to refurbish the warehouse. Parisian architects Jakob + MacFarlane wins the contest and task to design for the warehouse. They choose to retain the old skeletal structure while giving it a vibrant facade. To date, it is an important heritage site and beloved landmark along the city's waterfront.

Congratulations to all the winners!
