OCD DAILY - Issue #507

Welcome to the 507th issue of @OCD Daily!

Issue #507 highlights content from five (5) Steem Content Creators! The OCD team continues its search throughout Steem to find you the undervalued gems, as provided by relatively new users.

Today our curators found five (5) new pieces of original content! We strive to find works that are created by newer Steem users, that may not have the audience with which to share their quality content. @OCD strives to help provide that audience and intends to showcase Steem users who put in the extra effort to create creative, original content.

The @OCD nomination process

A curator will FIND a piece of work (typically from newer users). Within 24 hours that piece has been submitted from the curator to the @OCD team, curator votes are tallied, and the pieces with the most votes are included in the compilation.

We encourage you to visit these blogs and show these great Steemians your support and encouragement.

If you enjoyed their work, give them a Follow or maybe even say Hello!

All of the content chosen by our curators is undervalued, but there is always one piece that rises to the top. That piece is universally appreciated and valued by our curators making it OCD’s Top Nomination of the Day.

Our top nomination of the day is from @claudio83

@claudio83 has written a wonderful post about the Castle of Doria. The post contains some great pictures where he takes us on a journey through the ruins. Walking on the paths from the Doria castle to the city of Portovenere meant crossing the rocky coast and passing remains of houses that survived the weather and time. I think this post shows you that if you ever are in this area, the long walk it well worth your time.

@StefaniaVeliz is a talented visual artist and in this post is sharing with us an impressive and detailed portrait inspired by a sculpture fragment of Perseus. The result is detailed and well proportioned with striking highlights and deep shadows. Along with the collection of progress photos we can enjoy a fragment of the story of the great greek hero that Stefania found and kindly added to the post.

Our next nomination of the day is from @raymondspeaks

@raymondspeaks writes about how people in general often feel they are right. He shares an interesting video after he had a discussion about this topic. I think this posts shows that there are always more than one way to look at what's right or wrong.
