OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 135th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Digital Portrait Paintings pt2

Today i woke up very very late and felt very tired. I was planning to paint a portrait and keep the processes so i can share with you guys but im too lazy for that i guess. Ofcourse it doesnt mean i will not be painting today, i will paint a character im working on for couple of days. She is a full armored knight kind of a character, since it is my first time painting a full armored character it is a bit challenging.

I never imagined that I could go through this community just in my first week of posting. If it's a community of complaints, I've been trying not to have them lately. But looking over my work, *aaaahhhhhhhh!* I need to express myself, I need to share this situation with all of you. Just like the chorus of a song I love that goes: "*And I'd like to scream and scream and scream and scream and I can't find words OH NO! *(Overnight 2011)" so I feel when attending classes and encountering people who don't read, interpret, ask questions and get out of doubts.

Birding on San Juan Island, Part One

I saw so many birds on my last trip to San Juan Island! I took so many pictures that I still have to sort through, but I am excited to share the photos I do have ready, and will post more in the coming weeks. San Juan Island is a part of Washington Sate in the US, and is located in the Salish Sea. Here is a Google Maps link. To get there from the mainland you have to take a ferry. There is a beautiful nature preserve at the ferry port, where I was able to get a few photos of birds while I waited until boarding time.

Hello friends, I hope you are doing great, I wanted to share something with you. It had been weeks since I had uploaded a little bit of content related to planting and the garden that my dad and I have been taking care of and working on.
I had some plans at the beginning of the year in relation to planting and harvesting, in fact, I had some pretty high expectations, because last year I had an excellent harvest, which allowed me to sell and help a little at home with the food.

This year I had planned some important things, among them, to plant a little more than 50 tomato plants, along with other plants for personal consumption as well as to sell.

What I hadn't planned for was the weather, or the onset of winter here in Venezuela.

Unlike last year, the winter had not been as aggressive as it is now.

Onion Paratha -Hive top chef

This is my contribution to hive top chef where this week's topic is Flatbread.
Paratha is an Indian flatbread that usually starts with whole wheat flour. There are many varieties other than plain. I chose to make some curried onions to fold into the flatbread.

Beautiful Rock Formations on Koh Larn Island.

A couple of weeks ago, I visited Koh Larn Beach which lies in the Gulf of Thailand, it is about a 7.5km ferry ride from the mainland of Pattaya City, the island has six main beaches and other smaller beaches which are not named and they are all stunning beaches with clear blue waters and white powdery sands. I have visited Koh Larn twice now since living in Pattaya City and I do intend going back for a few more visits to see the other surrounding beaches on this little paradise island but in this post, I like to show you some amazing nature that can be seen on this little paradise island.
