Today is followback Friday or something and I just remembered the good old days where you could get thousands of followers with a simple click using dozens of free and paid tools. And then... just when every idiot online could have a profile with millions of followers, Twitter decided to change a few things, starting with the API, the number of maximum daily users to follow, disabling the ability for third party websites etc. Oh, and they also deleted countless of those spam accounts. The times have changed and now you have ugly websites specialising in "hashtags". And making good money from the ads since there are plenty of lazy kids who want to copy paste the magic words that will bring them fame and fortune.
