Hello hivers friends, on this occasion I will post a photo of a living creature, this photo is not about insects, as we both know that spiders belong to the Arachnida class, which is a class of animals with no backbones. A brief explanation of why spiders are not included in the insect class is: if an animal belonging to the insect class has three pairs of jointed legs, while spiders have eight legs.
The spider in my post this time is the Oxyopes salticus spider, it is known that this type of spider has several color variations, among several types there are three types of colors in my post this time.
When I was trying to find out more about Oxyopes salticus or Commonly Known as the Striped Lynx Spider, I also tried to access a Google search and found an article describing this spider on Wikipedia, it says that:
Adult specimens have some color variation between orange, cream and brown. Adult females usually have stripes on the carapace and abdomen, although in many specimens the stripes are more prominent on the abdomen. Usually there is a diamond heart mark, and macrocetae cover the I-IV legs. There is a broad clypeus. Adult females range in size from ~5-6mm, and adult males measure ~4-5mm.
