Content writing is one of the easiest skills you can achieve within a few months of practice and dedication. Yeah, you heard me right!

I never thought I would write content in English, which is not even my native language. But here I am, writing in English and earning some passive income.

It will be easy for you if you have the dedication to be a writer or content creator. Thousands of people worldwide earn money by writing content for their website or other websites, which is called passive income. They earn from Google Adsense, affiliate marketing, or writing content on the blog like Hive Blog.

Keep in mind that content writing is a creative profession, like graphic design or website development. People also are earning a lot by selling their content on freelancing websites like Fiverr or Upwork. And it's not hard to procure this writing knowledge if you give your 100% effort.

At first, let's learn some benefits that you'll get if you know content writing -

  • You can write content for your website and earn from the ad networks like Google Adsense after getting visitors to your content.
  • You can sell products or make a commission from e-commerce sites like Amazon or eBay.
  • You can generate good revenue by writing regularly on decentralized sites like Hive Blog.
  • You can sell your content or article.
  • You can freelance on websites like Upwork, Fiverr, Elance, etc.

Today I am going to write how you can earn passive income from your article.

Earn from Ads

You can't just earn from ad networks by writing content. You have to buy domain and hosting; you have to set up a theme, then decorate your website. But content is the heart of your website. You can do all the other works just by watching video tutorials on YouTube. But you can't write content by watching tutorials; that's a creative skill that you must earn by practicing.

And if you know how to write an SEO-optimized article for your niche, then there's a 90% possibility that you'll get success with your website. And you'll get lots of organic visitors from search engines.

Then, you can apply on ad networks like Google Adsense to show ads to your website. I know a guy from a website called ShoutmeLoud, who earned $50,000+ just from Adsense. And I am sure he also made good revenue from affiliates as well from the same website.

Some people are even earning $3000-$5000+ revenue per month just from ads.

Earn from Affliate Markeitng

This is the same way like I said in the "Earn from Ads" section. But here, you have to be selective with your niche and write product reviews of particular products. Your target is here is picky people who want to buy a specific product.

For example, you want to buy a DSLR camera, and you want to check with Google first - "Best DSLR camera in 2021".

Let's check out the first website. Here you can find some latest DSLR camera reviews with their configuration, specification, pros, and cons.

Look how he wrote the product review here and added Amazon Affiliate Link within the article. When someone is buying a camera or anything, by clicking on this link, he/she will earn a commission.

Content is the heart here, and if people love content, they will go to the affiliate link to buy that product.

Earn by Blogging on other websites

You can generate an excellent income from sites like Hive Blog. The most pleasing thing is you don't have to create your website or make it popular to earn income. You can start earning from day 1, from your first post.

As I am regular content write on Hive, I am writing about Hive Blog only. You can google for other platforms as well from where you can earn by writing content. But at this moment, Hive blog is the best site for freelance writers like us.

If you check the trending page of Hive Blog, you'll see people are earning a lot of money in cryptocurrency just for posting their content. Some of them are developers; some are travelers and, some are photographers. You have numerous topics to choose from. The reward they are getting for their posts is called Author Reward.

Yeah, you heard it right! You can even earn a decent amount of money just for posting your original photos with just a short description. This is something that you can't get on Instagram, Facebook, or even on Stock Photo websites. Only Hive Blog is paying you for your intellectuals after seven days of posting.

But to earn a lot from here, you have to be a creative, dedicated, and hard worker. Your content should attract other bloggers.

Earn by Selling Contents

As I told you earlier, you can earn by selling your content on websites like Fiverr, Upwork, or freelancer. People worldwide are looking for talented content writers to write content for their websites, social media pages, thesis, etc. And people are ready to pay a lot of money for a good article.

So if you are confident, then be a freelancer and sell your knowledge.

People are charging $5 - $400 for content on Fiverr. Besides freelancing, you can also regularly work anywhere as a content writer.

So, now you know being a content writer can bring a lot of money to you. I know some people who left their job, and now they are full-time content writers. They are earning double/triple what they gained from their job. I am not asking you to leave your job. Just go with your passion, and work hard until you achieve success.

hive does make a good buck in the end especially if you have been working here long and dedicared it does pay off...BUT..you have to actively write.

And that is where the adsense comes in handy. Once youhave your website, the adsense does the work for you and that is what you eventually would want to have..that is passive income

(I need a website to do this man hahaha)

That's true. You can sell your content as long as you write. But Adsense may give you money even after 1 year after writing content. But rank an article on the first page of SERP is the hardest thing.
Thanks for your time.

The first picture misses a source

The first picture is from Pixabay. It's a website for copyright-free images. Crediting or providing a source isn't required here.

Thats where you are wrong in my opinion , sourcing is needed whenever its not yours, so why not just add source pixabay and the link , and @hivewatchers agrees i think

Sourcing isn’t needed whenever you download from sites like Pixabay, pexel etc. It's not mandatory. It's already written on those websites - crediting is not required! This is the universal rules, applicable for all sites. Now if anyone wants to provide credit to Pixabay, that depends on content creators. But if you don't that's not plagiarism. Thanks for your concern though.

I already wrote an article on this topic. You may check out - Top 7 websites for copyright free images

I hope you get my point now.

Speical tag - @guiltyparties (Sorry to tag you. Want to hear your comment regarding this issue. Thanks.)

The problem lies in cases where someone takes an image from Pixabay and says nothing and presents it as their own. When you let's say grab a photo of a bird and post it up with the title "Bird in park" you're giving the impression that you've taken the photo yourself and curators vote based on the quality of the photo. However, when they find out the bird is from Pixabay, they're feeling cheated. There is nothing else in your post except that bird pic and they just curated you based on someone else's work. So immediately they will either downvote or report. In those cases where the image is the sole point of value in your post, sourcing is highly advised (just say "I found this on Pixabay" and add something original such as why you're sharing it so the post makes sense).

However, if you've got a long post about your life or thoughts and you want to grab a Pixabay image as a header, maybe put the title text over it, that's a whole other matter. That's perfectly alright.

In your post, its clear that that's a stock photo. No one is going to assume that you've taken it.

However, people do want to see citations for images these days because of my first example. It's just the norm that built up after all the deception by those intending to scam where we became conditioned to look for sources.

Got it. Thanks a lot for your comment. Always love how you explain issues. ❤️
I think from now on I better use citations for all the photos.
Thanks to Brit as well for pointing out this issue.

Yes, as guiltyparties explained. If the image/photo is the main highlight of the post then sourcing is a must. If it is just a decoration, it is only recommended to source.

It's great when writers of this caliber can earn passive income.

I think that this direction is now in great demand. And qualified professionals are highly valued in this area. But I've never been good at it. I recently found a service that helped write my tok essay for me. For me, the main quality in these matters and thanks to this I got the desired result.

I like writing! When writing a persuasive essay on an issue such as youth unemployment , it is essential that you use specific words that can convey a specific image. For instance, you might write, "Youth are increasingly living without any means of income." This idea is one that most parents and society hold.
