How to Write SEO Friendly Post on Hive

That means if you have a kingdom of digital marketing, content is the king. And keywords, backlinks, traffic, site design are the soldiers of your kingdom. If your king isn't OK, your kingdom won't run smoothly.

Why are we writing continuously in the Hive blog? Any answer? Yes, most of us are here to earn some Hive by writing content. If your article can reach to more people, you'll get more exposure, you'll be more popular.

A few days ago, I wrote an SEO friendly post and it got second position in Google Search with one long-tail keyword. If you search ''Earn Cryptocurrency by Writing'' you'll find my article on the first page.

That means more people are now reading my article and who knows, maybe some of them are following me now.

How to Write SEO friendly post?

Writing an SEO friendly post isn't hard. It's quite like your regular writing. Just follow some rules while writing. For writing SEO friendly article you have to consider the following rules -

Provide an Interesting Title

Title is the first impression of your post. The title describes the entire article; what is written in the post. If you are unable to attract visitors by your post title, visitors aren't going to read that. Here're some tips about writing article -

Always keep your title short. Lond title bothers the reader.
Write 5 titles for one post and choose the best of them.
The post title should be relevant to the post.
7-8 words for a title are fine.
Make it eye-catchy, so that a visitor can say - I have to read this!
Use interrogative words like why, what, how in your title. This may increase the interest of the visitors.

Add Images

Add some photos to describe your article. Better use a thumbnail image to describe the whole article, as like as the title.

If you can't optimize the image properly, you're wasting a valuable SEO asset. You have to keep in mind that -
Image is the first impression of your blog post, as like as the title. So make it eye-catchy.

Compress your image for faster loading. Better use JPG or JPEG format, as PNG files are normally larger.

Create authentic copyright-free images. Use free stock images from Pixabay, Unsplash, Pexels if you don't want to spend money.

Change the image file name. Normally it looks like ''IMG_2422" or something like that, which looks like an alien language to search engine. If your topic is ''Favorite Car'', change your image name similar to your post.

Use ALT text for images, which is also called alternative text. It helps the search engine crawler to render images properly.

Write articles in short sentences

Long sentences may annoy readers and they may leave before reading the full article. You have to keep in mind that you are writing for a huge group of readers, where everyone may not be an expert in your language. So keep it short and simple. On the other hand, long sentences are difficult to read. Google also likes articles with short sentences.

Use short paragraphs

Try to finish each paragraph within 3-5 sentences. Long paragraphs may scare a reader - Oh! This is gonna be long and boring!

Large paragraphs are difficult to read and have a bad impact on Search Engine.

Research on Related Keywords

I should have been written about this at the beginning of the post. Keyword research is mandatory before writing any post. A perfect keyword can help search engines, as well as readers to get accurate information. For getting a perfect keyword you need to do keyword research.

Informative post

The more information your article contains, the more visitors you'll get. Make you post big with short paragraphs, so that you can give lots of information. And Google loves big and informative posts. Write at least 8-10 paragraphs in your article so that visitors can understand your writing better.

Use subheadings in the body of content

Subheadings are the pillars of your content. It makes the content more attractive to the visitors. Make the subheadings also short and simple as like as the title, so that visitors don't lose interest.

Suggestion: Always keep your title in h1 tag. And h2 or h3 tags for your subheadings. You must keep your main keyword in the title. But keeping the main keyword in the subheadings is not mandatory.

Avoid using too many links

Using inbound and outbound links in the article is very good for SEO.

However, don't use too many links. Outbound links shouldn't be more than 1-2. And remember that, links should be relevant to your article.

Avoid Passive Voice

Google and readers doesn't like passive voice. And truly speaking, this is one of the problems which I'm facing a lot while writing content. It's hard to write everything is active voice. But according to analysis, Readers find posts more attractive which is written on active voice.

Avoid copy-pasting

Copy-pasting can destroy your whole article and Google may kick out your website from Search Engine if you do this a lot. Copy-pasting is also called plagiarism. You may use some sentences from an article but you have to provide source link as well.

To write plagiarism free content you can use these tools.

Use Attractive Conclusion

As the heading, your conclusion should be attractive as well. To keep your conclusion eye-catchy you can -

Give a short summary of the whole article
Ask questions
End with an inspirational quote
Provide necessary references

Just keep your conclusion short and informative.
