A Year older..

On a special warm day in the afternoon of May 19th 1994, a woman was rushed into the hospital, her eyes were tearing up from the contractions but her heart was overwhelmed with the joy that would be coming soon from within her legs. Where is the doctor, the husband demanded, please hurry he pleads my wife is about to deliver a baby..

There were shouts of orders from the doctors and a few running around by the nurses, the woman was calm surprisingly to everyone, she just wants to hold her baby, although the husband kept pacing, he was so anxious I guess, well who wouldn't be, right 🙂

Fast forward to a few nerve wrecking pushes, here comes the head, the doctor announced, relieve flowed from everyone in the room and in less than 3 minutes, smiles and tears have filled the room also, the baby is born, her soft smile filled the room followed by a loud wail.

An angel, a gorgeous little girl her parents thought, so they stared at her and named her Mitchel, she was indeed a beauty to behold.

I didn't meet her till after a year when I was born, but I have grown up with her and she's still as gorgeous and angelic as when she was born.

Happy birthday Mitchel Peters, you are the best sister I can ever have. I love you.
