The Gunong Peut Sago area is a cluster of Bukit Barisan which is one of the active hotspots in Pidie Regency, and a close neighbor of the Burni Telong (Bener Meriah) Volcano, also part of the 'ring of fire' series in the Sumatran belt.

Our journey up Mount Puet Sagoe with 27 climbers who all came from Aceh, in order to see the beauty from the top of Mount Puet Sagoe, there are so many beautiful charms in the forest that we can meet friends, starting from the natural air and green moss. which is still very pure, and wild animals that still roam in the forest.

For our trip, we were guided by a guide from Geumpang, also call his name Bg Zikri, he is very adept at dealing with the problem of wild animals, even when we passed the elephant path we were very panicked but he still relaxed without shaking a bit.

For access to get there, it can take a week or so as I felt when I climbed there, and there is also a lake that is almost very similar to Ranu Kumbolo, East Java, but in Aceh, there is a

Kemiki Lake is located between the four Peaks of Gunong Puet Sagoe (Four Sided Mountain). This mountain is located between the districts of Pidie and Pidie Jaya, Aceh.

For the route to Kemiki Lake, you can find the footprints of a herd of wild elephants which are often called Poemeura in many places. Kemiki Lake has an area of about 3 hectares. Dominated by grass and left and right flanked by mountains with calm water ripples. It crossed our minds, how beautiful it would be if the place was used as a tourist attraction.

Kemiki Lake with very natural water.
