Used lua tables to store values of nodes that had decreasing frequency and amplitude. I initially tried to avoid negative frequencies, but I liked the results and didn't use code to block it.
I entered a game jam on itch.io and submitted a slot machine game. I see twitter and CT posting jokes about TP being the new almighty currency, and I made TP worth 100 coins in the game. You need pico8 to play it.

Color colony was inspired by COVID-19. Other pico8 artists/developers have released code that tracked the 2-3 populations of "cells".
Here is Cell Colony. It cycles between pico8 color values and the larger color value consumes all other colors.
