Jornet is running at a track in Måndalen, Norway, about six hours north of Oslo. He and Salomon were teasing the event for the past week, but poor weather conditions forced them to put it off until the forecast showed clear skies. Finally, the ideal day is on its way, and Jornet is running to try to beat the record which is 303,506 km by Yiannis Kouros, 23 years ago. If you want to watch him live, he will be running until tomorrow 11:00 CET.

Kilian holds several long-distance world records, you can see his impressive sports career in his wikipedia profile.

Here's a short film about some of them

What a monster!

Unfortunately he didn't make it :( But still a crazy distance he managed to run in 11 hours. I can't imagine achieving something similar ever. I am pretty sure he will try again some time in the future ;)

I am sure he will try again. He is one of those who gets challenged whenever he can not succeed.
