Hello! My name is Samuel, and I am a pharmacy student at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana. I am a young, hardworking male with a passion for development and motivation. I am currently studying to become a clinical pharmacist and a student leader in Ghana and I love communicating with people from different social and economic backgrounds. I am also willing to help people with their technical problems during my spare time. My interests include researching the latest computer trends and reading.
So why pharmacy?
In high school due to my interest in science, I decided after several thoughts and reading many books, I had to choose my career path very widely. It was not an easy task as I first wanted to be an engineer from the start of high school till I finished. Most of my friends all knew I would be an engineer but one day but as always there's a but😪 which we must be grateful for, after careful thorough check of my interests related to a course I'd do in the university, pharmacy came up. I had interests in chemistry that's my highest followed by chemistry and physics before biology. I didn't like biology therefore I didn't want to go to any health field. Pharmacy in my own way was chemistry-based but had some biology in it which I decided to manage with that ( I wasn't bad in it though). And I have not regretted choosing that course till now. I hope I make the best out of it.
Do you love football? If yes, then we could be best friends. If not, we would still be good friends. Weekend footballs and champions League nights are my favourite. Should I include Europa to save my dear Manchester United and Barcelona fans coming into the league😂? The team I support is Liverpool yes! with the slogan YNWA... You'll Never Walk Alone. It's a team I start supporting in 2018 and yes we won the Champions League that season. Football is not just a game, it also teaches us about life that'll be a topic for another day. I have been following football that I do read commentaries and make analysis too. Football is my passion even though I like reading and watching movies. My taste for action movies nowadays is staggering but then I'm getting to love documentaries the more due to the fact that it teaches a lot of morals and you could see they didn't get it on a silver platter as most as us have been imagining. As a devout Christian my taste for books is mostly Christian literature. I get inspired and also get to know the Lord the more while reading those books. It also makes the understanding of the scriptures very easy and relatable. Aside that, I read finance and relationship books. These are books that also help in this walk of life. Our basic finances must not be dealt with easily but rather seriously. For a person to be financially successful as a young man like me reading the finance books gives a greater advantage as you get to know how to manage finances and also reap profits in businesses. As for relationship I think everyone needs such books, the rate of decline in relationship nowadays is so appalling that I have to wear my armour to fight such a battle. And to win this battle is get the experiences of others so I don't commit such mistakes. Overall, I have to understand what it takes to be in a relationship and also love as these are all crucial mistakes a lot of people do nowadays.
I am also happy to be here as we share various topics and also learn from each other as well.
