RE: Freewrite, 27 Apr 2020: Sustainability and Enhancing the Hive Blockchain

in OCD4 years ago

Dear @roleerob, why was Hive born? In Korea, blockchain and cryptocurrency are recognized as simple speculative products.

As I read your article, I thought that the purpose of blockchain and cryptocurrency is a meeting place for people who insist on centralization and decentralization.

I am not sure what political and economic objectives and values the information posted on Hive produces.

PS: Senior, Senior, when I increase the hive power, I can comment, but I can't post. I don't know why posting is not possible.
I'm ashamed, but I still don't know how to use the Hive blockchain. hahaha

This question @silvergrifin007 is confusing to me ...

"Dear @roleerob, why was Hive born?"

... as it seems I have read comments you have written yourself about all that took place after Justin Sun bought out SteemIt. Perhaps I am remembering wrong ...

At its most basic, both Steem originally and Hive now are platforms for creating content and earning money for your efforts. How well that works is the point of this post and many, many others.

On this ...

"... but I can't post. I don't know why posting is not possible."

... is this recent? When you first mentioned this weeks ago, I delegated to you to eliminate this being a problem.

Are you familiar with this view of your account - https://hiveblocks.com/@silvergrifin007 - as it tells you exactly where you are on your resource credits?

Here is what it is currently showing:

Senior @roleerob, I can't post after increasing hive power. However, comments are possible.
After converting all hive to hive power, posting fails. I still don't know how to use the Hive blockchain.

I'm not good at English, so you understand.
I still don't know the concept and usage of blockchain and cryptocurrency.
I don't even know the difference between Steam and Hive.

How long has this been a problem @silvergrifin007? You were posting okay. Do you know anything that changed?

Are you able to post on Steem?

I want to help you, but in this case I don't understand why you are having trouble.

Dear @roleerob, sorry I kept asking you questions.
After converting hive to hive power 6 days ago, I can't post to hive. However, posting on Steem works well.

No need to apologize @silvergrifin007. You are just answering my questions. And I am trying to help you.

Looking at your Steem account, you have less RC (Resource Credits) there than you have on Hive, with the delegation I have given to you. And the underlying code is the same ...

You should be able to post. What UI (User Interface) are you using? I'll come back to asking what has changed? Perhaps a change you made in a setting somewhere? I do not know of any which would make it so you cannot post though ...

I wish I could help you, but I have no idea what the source of the problem is you are experiencing.

The UI (User Interface) doesn't know what I'm using. I log in to Hive with Google Chrome.
Since I converted Hive to Hive Power 6 days ago,
I couldn't post to Hive.
I had a problem after converting Hive to Hive Power.

Yes, okay @silvergrifin007, I am almost certain your problem has nothing to do with powering up Hive to Hive Power. That is what you are supposed to do to increase your RC (Resource Credits).

Here are your 2 UI options:

My question was whether you had changed any settings in your UI, but I don't know whether that matters. I have never heard of changing a setting which leads to no longer being able to post ...

I wish I could help, but I really don't know what could be causing your inability to post.
