Cactus will be planted in the tub in which one-third of soil, one-third of sand and one-half of rotten manure have to be mixed well. The soil of the tub has to be changed in the same manner every one year.
Cactus can be kept on the porch or window of the house. The place where light air comes is suitable for keeping cactus. However, it should be noted that the morning sun falls on the cactus.
If too much water is given to the cactus, its roots rot. Give a small amount of water at the base of the plant once or twice a week. Make sure the water does not freeze.
In addition to enhancing the decoration of the house, one can also earn money by cultivating cactus and Cactus is widely grown commercially in many countries around the world, including Chin, Japan, India and Malaysia. Although commercial cactus cultivation has recently started in Bangladesh but its quantity is very low. With adequate support and export facilities, cactus industry can be developed in Bangladesh as well.
