Yes guys! I am THE ONE.
The One you have waited for so long.
Ironically, my name is Emmanuel, Ephraim Emmanuel... Like the one awaited.
You can call Manuel, really close pals who know what I do with Words, call me the Steward of Words(SOW). Sooooon, you will be in the league too and be free to call me that. Winks.
So, really, who is Ephraim Emmanuel. Yeah?
The Steward of Words is a Writer and Freelancer, with a nagging zest for success and perfection.
He is a Singer, to be more precise, a Classical Choral Soprano and Baritone singer with over ten years of practice and expertise in Choral Music Performance and counting. He has been a member of some very renowned Chorale Groups including the Memories of Love Foundation and the Port Harcourt Male Ensemble, an all male choir which happens to be ECOWAS Choir of the year since 2017 or so.
Ephraim is a Media head, a Radio Presenter with over seven years of hands on Radio Presenting, Reporting, News Writing, Programs Production and Management Experience.
He is a graduate of English and Communication Arts, a degree he since put in his back pocket from the Prestigious Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Rivers State, Nigeria, where he was given the Orator/Poet of the year(2016/2017) award.
While Ephraim Emmanuel was still a student he honed his talent as a reporter with the Institution's Media and Publicity Unit gathering News as it happened live on campus, it was from this point he polished his skill and went on to take a Radio Training with a Campus Radio Station, Excel FM, where he would later kick off his career as a Presenter and then head on to work with, on, and for other reputable Radio Houses like Wish FM PH, Rhythm FM PH and Raypower PH, and then to Raypower Abuja, all in Nigeria.
As a super Talented Poet, in his Penultimate Year in the University, Ephraim was called upon to head a Poetry group which had just be formed to enable Poets in a flourishing Institution hone their writing skills and grow their art... The group, "Wordsmiths", through his leadership and Inspiration would later brew some very astonishing Poets who have since gone on to win awards and break astounding grounds in the field of Poetry. Poets like Dera Melanin, Saro Ogumba, Faith Words, and a host of others.
Brace up, you haven't met the guy yet...
Ephraim is also a mental health enthusiast and coach with over five years of successful practice and encounter with amazing issues that turned out to be testimonies. He kicked off and ran a WhatsApp group, "Freaks", a home away from home, a place where members were free to express their deepest fears, most secret deeds and fantasies, an unburdening centre, with over twenty members closely knitted, the group flourished and gave birth to a lot of more open, more free, happier sets of individuals and altho it became dormant due to his busy schedule and other vicissitudes of life, members of the group stayed and still knock on its door once in a while, a statement, a fact that proves that the group indeed left a remarkable dot on their lives.
He would later go on to create other groups both on WhatsApp and Facebook where Mental Health issues are discussed.
Ephraim is a member of many outstanding Art and Poetry Movements including, the "Open Mic Poetry Crew" with which he hosted a Poetry Show on the Airwaves of Excel FM for over four years, "Seaview Poetry Club", a club that has been on the airwaves of Rhythm FM PH every Tuesday for over ten years serenading listeners with Poetry, "Metamoreforces" a child of his School days Poetry Club, Wordsmiths, which later found its way to the Stereos of Raypower FM Mesmerising listeners with Poetry, all these he did alongside grand Poets like Graciano Enwerem, Biokpo, The September Poet, Black Jezuz, Abraham Anyadike, and a host of others and on the shows of Prolific On Air Personalities like Eldee of Rhythm FM, Vibrant Lady and TDA the Mega Icon of Raypower, and other really astonishing Presenters, who were either lovers of Poetry or definitely got converted hearing him and the crews perform.
He was and still is a member and part of some very reputable Poetry Communities and Projects, such as the Poetry Unplugged Project, Port Harcourt Literary Society(PHLS), Rivers State Writers Association, Morelife Poetry, Artvocacy, Abuja Literary Society and a lot more.
Ephraim Loves Africa, he loves to think that Africa still does not know who she is and when she does wake up to it, the world will be amazed, far more than it is now of the talents and resources, human and otherwise she has in stock.
He is a Humanist, he believes in the Supremacy of Humanity, holds the thoughts that if humans are more akin to the voices in their heads, more akin to giving a hand when it matters, the world will be a better place.
Ephraim believes that the mind is a man's greatest asset and hence treats his and those of others in his space with utmost care and attention.
Now, why is Ephraim here!
