Hello viewers.Congratulations again to the OCD community on my blog.Today I went to the well-known and famous Kumarpara of rural Bengal. They still preserve the old traditions of rural Bengal. Hari-pot making soil is different from any other type of soil in which Hari-pot cannot be made.First the soils are soaked and pressed. Then these soaked soils with hands and feet are prepared for making makhiya hari-pot.

I first went and saw the women engaged in handicrafts preparing the clay for molding the pots and some of the men skillfully rolling out all the various pottery designs with skillful hands.

After making them with mold, they have to be allowed to dry in the intense sun again. Different designs are applied to the clay objects while molding. Then the size of the earthenware is given by burning in the fire.

Then different types of alpana are applied on the pots or pots of different earthenware.
Many people are engaged in making pottery. One person is engaged in one task at a time. The village provides employment to poor men as well as women. It provides one-way employment opportunities to the poor as well as to their families.

These are again picked up and sold in stores. People buy them as fancy items and even as daily necessities. I don't know how you like my blog today. Whether I can give pleasure. But today I am very happy to be able to see these works of art in Kumarpara with my own eyes.
