RE: Begging for change and doing the work

There are tons of books teaching about self improvent, but very few about the importance of focussing on communities.
It's all about I, me and myself.

I think this has been the last 60 years of social movements to celebrate the individual and put celebrities on pedestals.

The leaders of the future will be those who are able to unite, not conquer communities.

I think that your dad likes your thoughts!

We used to have some good discussions back in the day :)

And we have seen so many that fell off those pedestals my friend.

To unite the communities is to serve them, not to rule over them.

I bet and I am sure that good seeds were sown by your father.

Thank you for the token.

A curious point in the world is that dynasties, empires, governments and countries all come to an end -. but the cities live on. Cities are agnostic to the politics of society, the community that resides in them keeps them alive, no matter what they believe at the time.

So true and even if they change the names of the cities, such as Constantinople to Istanbul, the city still survives.
It is always the human factor that is at play and they have always in history united in revolt.
Nowadays we see identical forms of disturbances amongst the nations, but only time will tell what type of united revolt will result as at present it is sporadic and disjointed.
Each individual community fighting for their own rights with errant leaders.

The latter is what has to be changed for any chance at real progress!

Constantinople to Istanbul, the city still survives.

With very little exception, cities continue. They survive, war and famine, carpet bombing and fire. Pompeii might be an exception.

Perhaps war, perhaps a quite revolution of economic energy.

Well, if there is no alternative, a quiet revolution of economic energy would be the ideal.
With more thinkers like you at the forefront and this is not meant to be false praise, as you know me.
Your job might be to find genuine people with similar thinking capacities.
The IT infrastructure is already in place and waiting.

Dear tarazkp, Do you mean that city-states, like the medieval feudal era, lead the world? In East Asia, global companies with a combination of countries and companies are increasing.

In particular, Korean and Chinese companies are building global corporate empires that are outside the control of the state. Do you think urban countries will appear in East Asia?
