Today, for a change, we want to take you to our kitchen and show you our way of making delicious Italian gnocchi. Of course, you cannot miss the dessert, so we prepared two versions.

First, you'll need to get some potatoes. Clean them, cut into same size peaces and boil them until cooked. After that we used the antique potato smasher from grandmothers time. Smash the potatoes while they are still warm, because it will be much easier. Spread the smashed potato mountain on the table or your working station to cool down the temperature.

Now it's the time to add eggs, pieces of butter and a pinch of salt. All you need to do now is to knead the dough into a ball.In between, you need to add flour to get a nice texture. Make sure you do this with lots of love and be patient because it may take some time to get a good dough.

After you get this done, the fun part begins. This is the time you can include little and bigger helpers to join you.More helping hands will speed up the process, specially if you want to make some supplies.

The easiest way to make small gnocchies is to make as many worms as you can. Try to make sure that all worms are equally big. Use the knife to cut them into equal pieces.

If you are making lots of them, you need to put them on a plate.Important here is to add always some flour before, so they don't stick. When you are done, they are ready to go to the freezer. After approximately 3 hours, you can separate them from the plates and put them into bags.

Gnocchi are very easy to prepare. Boil some water, put some salt and cook them for few minutes. You will know when they are ready, when they come to the surface. We made ours with delicious gorgonzola sauce.

For all the sweet tooths, you can prepare very tasty dessert. For that, you need some plums (you can use other fruits as well) and a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.

Take one ball of dough and make it flat into a circle. In the middle, add the plum with the teaspoon of the sugar with cinnamon and close it into a ball. Press strongly so the juice won't come out. These takes a bit more to cook and can also be stored in the freezer. For the topping, you can melt the butter with a spoon of bread crumbs. Additionally, you can add more
sugar or cinnamon. Voila!

Buon Appetit!😋

Those dumplings look great but landed in the wrong community, unfortunately. We have different communities on Hive and we're encouraging users to post in the right community based on the topic of the post. This post for example would fit better in any cooking/food community, like Foodies Bee Hive or Hive Food community.

OCD is for topics that don't fit in any other community and should be used when you don't find a niche community for your post.

Here's a guide I put together to help you learn about how communities work and why you should use them -> Communities Explained - Newbie Guide. I also put together a list of communities, which is not complete, there are much more communities on Hive, but it will help you get started.

Once you posted your post in the right community, you can then cross post it to OCD community. Here's a guide about cross posting.

Please don't delete any post with the purpose of reposting it in another community as that can be considered abuse! Leave this post here, you'll get it right next time.

Oh, thank you so much for letting us know! We will add this post there and read through your article on main communities that we can join 👌🤗

No, as i said in my comment, leave it here as reposting is considered abuse.

I meant crossposting - sorry for misunderstanding 🙏🙃
