thank you for your honesty. I 100% agree with you brother. I know many many many other creators who think the same way and I also have seen a lot of amazing creators left because of missing engagement and support on hive and the previous steem.
You are one of the most enthusiastic and exciting guys here and you deserve more engagement and rewards for sure. Nobody can say that he/she never have seen the face of my favourite spammy hiver.

Most of the people on hive are here only for the money and they do not give a damn shit about other creators nor their content. Many would disagree with me to keep the nice mask on but in the end, this blockchain is going in a really bad direction for years and is all only about money. We all hoped for the big revolution with hive but it is not different than before. Just the "leaders", names and platforms have changed.
Posts related to the platform get pumped while real value posts have a comment desert and <1$ rewards. Rewards are not guaranteed I know but that's not an excuse for the continuing ignorance on this platform. It just makes me sad and I don't see a real-life purpose for people from outside to join hive except for the moneymaking aspect anymore. Good posts are just floating under the surface while promotional stuff is getting pumped as hell. Engagement is sure when you make a contest/giveaway/hive-related post but if you really provide any value/insights in your life, you do it for almost nothing. Not even a bunch of people are commenting because the old engaging people are gone.
I stepped back from being as active as I could on hive because that all makes me sad and I can relate to feeling worthless as well. I work in the background, building supportive initiatives like @diyhub to push quality content creators & to move hive into another direction but "the big ignorance" will never change in my opinion. When it comes to content creation I focus on my personal journey and I guess I will get back to centralized non-crypto platforms to receive real engagement. It is weird and perhaps a bad plan but that's my upcoming few weeks for sure because I create content to communicate and transfer value.
The fact that you have posted that via the (cartel app) 3speak confuses me a bit but that's of course up to you haha

Thank you so much for taking the time to listen to the video and talk openly about it as well. I know probably some people will listen but won't comment or talk about it because of the risk of negative consequences. But I thought of it when I have decided to talk about this and get this video out there.
We can't keep being fake and pretend we are building a social media blockchain and that we want to mass adopt when there's actually no real support to people that create the content that people actually consume on social media. This facade just have to fall or many changes have to be done by the ones that have the higher HP and are distribution the rewards and choosing what gets trending and who gets trending.
I know everyone is allowed to use their voting power as they please. But at least be realistic about it and don't lie to everyone in the community and out of it.
