The measure of beauty

in OCD3 years ago

We have created a culture where the most important thing in a woman's life is her beauty. Whatever he is in life, he must be beautiful.
An unrealistic picture of how beautiful she will be is constantly presented in front of her. The identity of a narrow mindedness is revealed from these beauty standards, which it is not possible for anyone to fulfill completely.

Being subtly implanted in a woman's brain, the only way to be beautiful is to have the size, shape, color of this beauty standard.
If that doesn't happen, it's still a way to get more involved.

Beauty filter
Are you black? Will make it fair.
Acne on the face? Will blemish.
Are you fat? Will make it thinner.

The shape of the face also changes due to the filter.
Surviving these is a challenge.
I am not saying that it is easy for any woman today to face this challenge.
The author of the book Beauty Sick is a psychologist, Rene Angel. He asked some little girls how they wanted to be when they grew up.

Most answered, slim and beautiful.
He also found that about 50 percent of women have a negative perception of their physical beauty, they are unhappy about it.

Do we find any similarity with this 50 percent unhappiness?
Do not look in the mirror to find out your flaws?
Muslim women do too.
An interviewer working in the beauty industry was interviewed to find out more.

He has been working in this industry for 10 years. The number of young people who used to come for a service is increasing day by day, now they come for full service.

He was asked, does anyone come with pictures of celebrities or models? Give me that?
-Yes, I have clients who come every two weeks for various services and they are addicted to these things. Addicted. Some people bring printed pictures, some bring pictures from Instagram. We try to make them understand as much as possible.

Even if one does not want to look like a model, there are many who dress like the so-called "Instagram influencers", do "modest fashion", do makeup, make "couple goals".

Can it be denied?

Instagram influencers got the name Influencer because they were able to influence us.

As a Muslim woman, we should counter this - to prove that the definition of beauty that is being presented to us is a lie.
How?

  • We need to understand that peace is a gift from God. Just be content with what we have. Many external changes cannot calm our hearts.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) told us that Allaah does not see our outward beauty, but our hearts.

There is no end to the constant frustration of finding one's own flaws. The more we think about it, the more intense it will be, the more we will get sick of this obsession.

We would rather help one another to be happy with what God has given us.

Unfortunately, it is true that people close to us give us beauty, you are fat.
You are thin
You are more fair.
You are black
The nose is big.
Sniffing.
There is no end to flaws.

We do not call those who do not fall in the definition of beauty made by the society, those who are not thin and fair.
I say cute.

There is no end to the comments.

But our Messenger changed the name of a woman from Asiya (disobedient) to Jamilah. Said, you are beautiful.

Remember, beauty is a worldly thing.
Wrinkles or brown spots, wrinkled skin - all of these remind us that beauty, like everything else in the world, is fleeting. Nothing lasts a lifetime.

So there is no point in running after something that will be erased.

Islam frees you from the mold of conventional beauty. God has repeatedly told us to pay attention to why we live in this world, why we have been sent here.

Therefore, the next time you look in the mirror, lower your expectations.
Yes you have scars on your cheeks. Stay.

What's wrong?
This stain is not you.

The stain is the stain.

You do that, which is your heart.

These do not define you. The purpose of our life is not to save our picture on the cover of the magazine.
Rather we will work to purify our hearts, so that it may be perfect.

There is no need to look like a beautiful person wearing hijab.
If someone's burqa looks beautiful, why do I need it?
Why should I lose myself in the online market?

I will not give up, we have to be so strong.

The most important thing whether you are a man or a woman is self-love, if you have that, your internal and external beauty will always please you, because you dress up for yourself and not to meet the beauty standards of a society that does not know what it wants.
