RE: Banned Books

I've never heard of this book. Thanks for highlighting it and the link to the PDF copy. Taking a look at it now.

Did you get much further into the Bobiverse book? Curious to know if you like it.

I'm about 2/3 through Three Body Problem. It's unlike most books I've read, enjoying it very much so far. It's taking my brain getting used to hearing the Chinese names and distinguishing everyone.

3 body problem and the dark forest are amazing. I'm glad you're getting into it.

My primary school principal always told me, if I don't understand a word or a name, just substitute it with one that does. I found that helped immensely in my enjoyment of 3 body and the other Cixin Liu books.

I just finished "The Supernova Era" and will let it stew before writing my review.

Me too! Have you seen the Netflix show? I wonder how it compares. Thinking about watching that after finishing the book.

Good idea about subtituting with an English name. Maybe that could work, part of the challenge for me listening to the audio version is distinguishing between the different characters. "Yeah" "Da Shi" and "Wang" I can remember and distinguish, the rest are a bit muddled in my mind.

Looking forward to your review of The Supernova Era.

Haven't seen the show. I kind of don't want to watch it, because I feel like it will ruin the image the book painted in my mind. Plus, I need to finish Philip K Dick's electric dreams, which I am watching at a glacial pace.

Japanese learning is taking up a lot of my free time. I plan on working on the Legion book in the airplane next week. I will have a lot of time in air and through transit.

Glad you are liking Three Body Problem. It is an unique book.
