Say NO to plagiarism, Yes to the original content

Hello friends of Hive blog. It is the first time I post in this community, and in the Hive platform I don't have much time but I keep learning because I want to know it better, so I hope you like this topic that today I will publish which seems to me very important and that there are many people who do not take into account.

This, take it as an advice from a novice who is still learning.

THE PLAGIO

What is plagiarism and why do I want to talk about it? The reason is simple. Because although I am new and I have had my mistakes for not having read the rules I have tried to correct them and I am a person who likes to ask others to learn. I'm not saying this because I have seen someone here on the platform plagiarizing, it's more like an advice, because I have heard many testimonies of friends of mine who have plagiarized songs, lyrics, and it seems to me something disgusting and in very bad taste, so I thought it was very important to address this issue. In fact, there are many artists who have plagiarized and the consequences have been strong.

So, what is plagiarism? Plagiarism is when you copy an idea from another person: literary, artistic, photographic, musical, scientific, among others... that is not from the person who is doing it and presents it as if it were his own.

[AVOID COPYING AND PASTING]

This, my friends, is an act of bad taste, because nobody knows how much effort the person who owns that content has put into it for someone else to come along and just copy and paste it, passing it off as his original content.

If there is one thing I like about Hive's platform, it is that following the rules is important and paramount.

Let's be clear that if we are going to use any image or any phrase that is not of our authorship that we do not forget to place the link of that image or place the name of the author of the phrase taken. These are simple rules that if we follow them will be much better, don't you think?

For those who don't know, I like to take pictures sometimes, but I also love to use the Photoshop application because I can do a lot of new things. I watch tutorials very often, so every time I have taken an image that is not mine I usually put the link to it so that the readers know where I have looked for it. That way, I don't damage that person's work and I don't damage mine either.

Let's take this as advice my friends, because it is for me too, and we will make our world a better place.

Thank you for taking a moment of your valuable time to read me.

See you in a future post!

Plagiarism is a big problem among newcomers, many don't know what it means, are caught and suffer the consequences.

What you're suggesting in this post is self improvement and we have a community for that, with the same name: -> Self Improvement. Don't do anything now, but in the future, please look for more appropriate community as OCD is for topics that don't fit in any other community.

We have different communities on Hive and we're encouraging users to post in the right community based on the topic of the post. This post for example would fit better in Daily Blog community.

Here's a guide I put together to help you learn about how communities work and why you should use them -> Communities Explained - Newbie Guide. I also put together a list of communities, which is not complete, there are much more communities on Hive, but it will help you get started.

Once you posted your post in the right community, you can then cross post it to OCD community. Here's a guide about cross posting.

Please don't delete any post with the purpose of reposting it in another community as that can be considered abuse!

Yes friend, thank you. I will take it into account.
