On Fresh Starts: My Hive Introduction

So here's my hive introduction.... My name is Precious and I'm a 25yr old unemployed, female Nigerian. I write about lifestyle, short stories, pop culture and my personal experiences living and interacting in the country I was born in, Nigeria. Safe to say that I'm a blogger, voice-over artist and an all-round freelancer. I have a degree in Medical Biochemistry and Genetics and I'm looking to bag a Masters degree in Public Health because I happen to care about people in a way, haha. I have a huge interest in customer service and spend most of my free time applying for available positions.

Currently, I happen to be in the country's capital up north, Abuja, living with family. I miss my immediate, small family who live about eleven hours away, small because it's just my parents, brother, his wife and my niece. I barely spent time with my now 1 yr old niece because I left home a month after she was born and it irks me each time we're on a video call and she stares blankly wondering who the hell I am.

My parents are aged and I can't help but feel for them each time they complain about not having anyone around the house to help out with chores. One of my greatest desires is to 'blow' (prosper in life) so I can spoil my family silly, the desire of most Nigerian youths.

My hobbies have always been reading, surfing the internet and talking to the mirror. I think I'd save that mirror talk for @threespeak so I can have an actual audience for all of my quirky, fun, insightful videos.
I go by the alias @wolfofnostreet on Steem and Hive, a name I have grown to like by compulsion, or not. It was coined from the movie Wolf of Wall Street. I'd have preferred my social media handle name but oh well, I got a free steem account that transcended into my now Hive account from @belemo because he's good people and I'm his girlfriend. He introduced me to the decentralized blockchain technology and I still do not understand how it all works in entirety but I'm learning on the go. I even am learning how to trade cryptocurrencies and invest properly all thanks to @belemo who sparked my interest in the crypto world approximately ten months ago. Coincidentally, we have been dating for that long and it's been a sweet ride on the journey to forever.

Ultimately, I just want to air my opinions freely and interact with new people both on @hive-naija and worldwide.

I struggle with writing consistently because I don't meet up to my own expectations and end up being hard on myself and not posting at all. But here's to fresh starts.
I'm pumped and ready to explore the Hive communities, participate in contests/challenges and build long lasting relationships.
