Hello everyone, greetings to you all.
I am new to this platform and for that matter I deem it necessary to introduce myself to the entire hive community.
About Me
My name is Yaw Nas Ahmed. I come from Ghana, a country within West Africa. I am quite fluent in English which is our official language within the country, but I can also speak a few other local dialects which are twi, hausa and fante. I was able to learn these dialects because I have lived in different areas of the country. I am 18 years old.
I joined hive on the 31st of March this year but had no idea how to get started until I came across this community whereby newcomers are introducing themselves.
My Education Level
I am currently in my third year in Fomena Senior High School here in Ghana which means that very soon, I will be graduating and moving on to the tertiary institution. I major in General Science which can sometimes prove very difficult here in school. But I chose this because I want to be an aerospace engineer in the future.
It is a tough journey for me in high school due to the many challenges we face such as restricted internet access and lack of modern science facilities.
My Family
I have been blessed with 2 amazing sisters who are 15 years and 26 years of age. My older sister who can be seen below is married with a beautiful daughter of six months. She is a teacher and lives in the capital part of the country, Accra.
My younger sister is also 15 years of age. She is still in junior high school and will be writing her final exams this year for a chance to go to senior high school.
HOBBIES
During my leisure time, I like to watch movies or football matches on tv, hang out with friends or go swimming with them. These are stuff I am quite passionate about so every once a while, you will find me visiting the pool with a friend, or simply hanging out with them. As for big game football matches, I never miss them.
Why I Joined Hive
I found hive on twitter while following blockchain contents there and decided to learn more which is how come I came to know about hive.blog, and the other dapps that come along with it. I am a dedicated person so I would be looking forward to building a trustworthy account and share valuable contents. I also intend to connect with the people here and build great friendships as well as valuable connections here too.
Contents I intend To Create
I am quite interested in the realm of football so I think that would be my major focus here on hive. I think the football world has so much to offer to this beautiful platform. I will be looking to create various fantasy for others to join, perhaps create my very own football community someday for others to join.
I also like to breakdown movies I watch so I think you would see me doing some movie reviews as well.
