Hello Hive family!
I am like many who work in the media, when it comes to talking about ourselves in public, our speech slows down. In preparing this presentation, I have discovered that treating the topic in stages is more comfortable. So here we go.
I am the eldest of Marlene, Domingo, and Héctor's children (yes, 2 parents, a story for another chapter), all of them from Caracas. Each one did their part to make me what I am today.
I lived my childhood like those memes and viral stories that we experienced as children in the 80s: running in the streets, playing with traditional games and toys, and the typical cry of my grandmother Luisa: “Yhennifer, let's eat.”
During those years, I spent a lot of time at my father's work, at RCTV, a pioneering television channel in Venezuela, which planted a little seed in me.
I was not one of the best students, but I can proudly say that I never failed a class. I did my bachelor's degree in science and immediately began studying Advertising. Ten years after graduating, I decided to embark on student life again and earned a bachelor's degree in Management Sciences. Today, fifteen years later, I do not rule out returning to the classroom. I love that life.
I was one of the privileged ones who had the opportunity to always work on what I liked. From 1997, the year I joined RCTV, until 2015, the year I emigrated from my country, I was able to develop in the different areas of communication.
I must confess that sometimes I feel like that was another life or that someone else lived it.
Since I had the opportunity to work in Spain, it has been as a cook. I have been to fried fish restaurants and on two occasions I have visited Mexican food establishments. I never imagined it, but I greatly appreciate the experience.
Thanks to that knowledge, I have taken an important turn in my career. I have managed to combine both professions a little and now I find myself managing the networks of a restaurant and starting my venture, making artisanal desserts.
And as a typical Sagittarian that I am, I do not stay calm, I am now at this stage of pretending to be a blogger, influenced by my cousin @coquicoin and with a lot of respect for those who carry out the activity in a masterful way.
I hope you find my writing amusing or at least distracting. They will always be made from the heart and with a lot of respect.

Hola familia Hive.
Soy como muchos de los que trabajamos en medios de comunicación que, a la hora de hablar de nosotros mismos en público, se nos frena el discurso.
Preparando esta presentación, he descubierto que tratar el tema por etapas, es más cómodo. Así que aquí vamos.
Soy la mayor de los hijos de Marlene, Domingo y Héctor (sí, 2 papás, historia para otro capítulo), todos caraqueños de pura cepa. Cada uno puso su granito para hacer de mí lo que soy hoy en día.
Mi infancia la viví como esos memes e historias virales de los que vivimos la niñez en los 80s: corriendo en las calles, jugando con juegos y juguetes tradicionales y el típico grito de mi abuela Luisa: “Yhennifer, a comeeerrrr”.
Durante esos años, pasaba mucho tiempo en el trabajo de mi padre, en RCTV, canal de televisión pionero de Venezuela, lo que sembró una semillita en mí.
No fui de las mejores estudiantes, pero con orgullo puedo decir que nunca reprobé una materia. Hice mi bachillerato en ciencias y de inmediato comencé a estudiar Publicidad. Diez años después de graduarme, decidí embarcarme nuevamente en la vida de estudiante, y saqué una licenciatura en Ciencias Gerenciales. Hoy en día, quince años después, no descarto retornar a las aulas de clases. Me encanta esa vida.
Fui de los privilegiados que tuvo la oportunidad de trabajar siempre en lo que le gustaba. Desde 1997, año que entré en RCTV, hasta el 2015, año en el que emigré de mi país, pude desarrollarme en las diferentes áreas de la comunicación.
Debo confesar que a veces siento que eso fue otra vida o que lo vivió otra persona.
Desde que tuve la oportunidad de trabajar en España, ha sido como cocinera: he estado en restaurante de pescado frito y en dos oportunidades he pasado por locales de comida mexicana. Nunca me lo imaginé, pero agradezco enormemente la experiencia.
Gracias a esos conocimientos, he dado un giro importante a mi carrera. He logrado unir un poco ambos oficios y ahora me encuentro manejando las redes de un restaurante y comenzando mi emprendimiento, elaborando postres artesanales.
Y como típica sagitariana que soy, que no me quedo tranquila, ahora estoy en esta etapa de pretender ser blogguera, influenciada por mi prima @coquicoin y con mucho respeto a aquellos que ejercen la actividad de manera magistral.
Espero que encuentren mis escritos divertidos o por lo menos que los distraigan. Siempre estarán hechos de corazón y con mucho respeto.
