My name is Ana Yolanda Campos Coraspe. I was born on February 18, 1946 in a beautiful farm located in a place called Palambra, Estado Anzoátegui, Venezuela. That farm was owned by my paternal grandfather, named Florencio Campos and my paternal grandmother named Antolina de Campos, who had 10 children, one being my father Angel Florencio Campos.

Mi nombre es Ana Yolanda Campos Coraspe. Nací un 18 de Febrero de 1946 en una hermosa hacienda ubicada en un lugar llamado Palambra, Edo. Anzoátegui, Venezuela. Esa hacienda, era propiedad de mi abuelo paterno de nombre Florencio Campos y mi abuela paterna de nombre Antolina de Campos quienes procrearon 10 hijos, siendo uno
de ellos, mi padre Angel Florencio Campos.

When my father was just 18 year old, he married my mother, Marcela Coraspe and procreated 10 children, being me the 5th.

Cuando mi padre tenía apenas 18 años, se casó con mi madre, Marcela Coraspe y procrearon 10 hijos, siendo yo la 5ta.

When I was 5 years old, my mother decided to move to the city, so that her children could study, since the farm was very far from Ciudad Bolívar. There I studied primary school and in 1965 I was sent to Trinidad and Tobago, W.I. to study the English language where I took the opportunity to also study Commercial Secretariat

Cuando yo tenía 5 años, mi madre decidió mudarse a la ciudad con la finalidad de que sus hijos estudiaran ya que la hacienda quedaba muy lejos de Ciudad Bolívar. Allí estudié la primaria y en 1965 me enviaron a Trinidad y Tobago, W. I., para que estudiara el idioma inglés en donde aproveche la oportunidad de estudiar también, Secretariado Comercial.

At the end of 1966, I returned to Ciudad Bolívar, which earned me a job in the construction of the first primary aluminum producer in Venezuela, where I started the following year. Its name is: Aluminio del Caroní, S. A. “ALCASA”, at that time in charge of Reynolds International, INC, located in the Matanzas Industrial Zone, Ciudad Guayana, Estado Bolívar, 100 Km to Ciudad Bolívar. This plant began its operations on October 14, 1967 and its market is national and international. I continued there throughout my working life (30 years).

A finales de 1966, regresé a Ciudad Bolívar, lo que me valió un trabajo en la construcción de la primera productora de aluminio primario en Venezuela, donde ingresé el año siguiente Su nombre es: Aluminio del Caroní, S,A. “ALCASA”, en ese tiempo a cargo de Reynolds International, INC, ubicada en la Zona Industrial de Matanzas, Ciudad Guayana, Estado Bolívar, a 100 km de Ciudad Bolívar. Esta planta inició sus operaciones el 14 de Octubre de 1967 y su mercado es nacional e internacional. Continué allí durante toda mi vida laboral (30 años).

During the thirty (30) years that I worked in “ALCASA”, I also dedicated myself to sports and defended the colors of my Company in Bowling, I studied at the university and graduated in Business Administration, I married Eng. Gerardo Méndez, who made a career at “SIDOR”, a plant dedicated to the manufacture of steel products for the national and international market, also located in the same area.

Durante los treinta (30) años que yo laboré en “ALCASA”, también me dedicaba al deporte y defendía los colores de mi Empresa en Bowling, estudié en la Universidad y me gradué en Administración de Empresas, me casé con el Ing. Gerardo Méndez, quien hizo carrera en “SIDOR”, planta dedicada a la fabricación de productos de acero para el mercado nacional e internacional, ubicada en la misma zona industrial de Matanzas.

My whole life was peaceful, harmonious, happy and I received many gifts and prizes, but the best were my two children: Ana Lourdes and Cristóbal Méndez, both very successful, thank God and who live in Mexico and Chile respectively.

Toda mi vida transcurrió tranquila, armoniosa, alegre y recibí muchos regalos y premios, pero lo mejor de lo mejor; fueron mis dos hijos: Ana Lourde y Cristóbal Mendez, ambos muy exitosos, gracias a Dios y los
cuales viven en México y Chile respectivamente.

My Daughter Ana Lourdes Méndez, my husband Gerardo Mendez, my son Cristóbal Méndez and myself Ana Yolanda Campos.

Mi hija Ana Lourdes Méndez, mi esposo Gerardo Mendez, mi hijo Cristóbal Méndez y mi persona, Ana Yolanda Campos.
My husband died in 2003 and I currently continue to live in Ciudad Guayana. I dedicate myself to making lingerie, taking care of my 105 years old mother, my 86 years old sister Delia and my 82 years old sister Carmen.

Mi esposo murió en el 2003 y yo actualmente sigo viviendo en Ciudad Guayana, me dedico a fabricar lencería, a cuidar a mi madre de 105 años a mi hermana Delia de 86 años y a mi hermana Carmen de 82 años de edad.-
