Si son de los que regularmente visitan mis posts, saben que el desafío anterior se trató de hallar al "animal más feo", y como no podía ser de otra manera, llegó el momento de compartir con todos el "animal" más "bello" que tenemos en la ciudad donde vivimos. Qué idea tan genial, una hermosa manera de dar a conocer la vida ¨silvestre¨: de nuestro pueblo; por eso me gustaría invitar a nuestros amigos @sacra97 @virgilio07 @cositav @lisfabian a participar de este excelente ¨desafío¨: y que nos den a conocer el "animal" más "bello" de la ciudad.

Siempre menciono que la ¨reserva¨: nunca decepciona a la hora de buscar vida ¨silvestre¨: para participar de los diferentes desafíos; en este precioso lugar hay muchas especies de animales que pueden calificar como el más bello para el concurso. Aunque me cueste decirlo, esta vez nos ha decepcionado, dado que no pudimos dar con un animal que valiera la pena enseñárselo; por suerte, en las calles de mi ciudad hay mucha presencia natural donde podemos hallar un animal precioso para participar. El primer lugar que tuve en mente para visitar ha sido un lugar ¨encantador¨: donde generalmente hay especies de animales; esta área está cerca del puerto donde están amarradas las embarcaciones. Como en este lugar no dimos con la especie que buscábamos, decidimos visitar uno de los ¨parques¨: más grandes que tiene la ciudad; es un predio de unas diez hectáreas donde hay diferentes especies de árboles. Si existía un lugar con la característica de albergar un bello animal, era este. Es increíble que ese día nos regresáramos a casa sin tener algo definido para el concurso; por ello tuvimos que regresar una vez más al microcentro para dar finalmente con el más bello que merecía darlo a conocer.
I always mention that the "reserve":never disappoints when it comes to finding "wildlife": to participate in the different challenges; in this beautiful place there are many animal species that could qualify as the most beautiful for the contest. Although it pains me to say it, this time it disappointed us, since we couldn't find an animal worth showing it; luckily, in the streets of my city there is a lot of nature where we can find a beautiful animal to participate. The first place I had in mind to visit was a charming spot:"charming": where there are usually various animal species; this area is near the port where the boats are moored. Since we didn't find the species we were looking for there, we decided to visit one of the largest parks in the city:"parks": in the city; it's a property of about ten hectares with different species of trees. If there was a place that was home to a beautiful animal, it was this one. It's incredible that we went home that day without having anything specific for the contest; so we had to return to the city center once more to finally find the most beautiful one that deserved to be shared.

This species is beautiful; the combination of colors in its feathers makes it look truly stunning. Como les mencioné anteriormente, el ¨comportamiento¨: de esta especie de ave es diferente al de otras; a esta le encanta estar caminando en la hierba o la tierra. Si bien acostumbra estar en parejas, y en ocasiones con más de su especie, tengo que decir que las veces que los hemos visto, que no han sido muchas, quizás unas tres o cuatro veces, siempre lo hallamos solo. Se alimenta de ¨hormigas¨: y ¨termitas¨: tal como lo pueden ver en el video; las veces que lo hallamos estaba alimentándose de una manera tan enérgica que hasta parece gracioso; es como si se apurara para que ninguna ¨hormigas¨: se le escape. Esta no es solo una especie hermosa; ellas tienen un "trinar" melodioso y muy peculiar que, una vez que lo oyes, cada vez que escuches su sonido, lo vas a asociar con el precioso pájaro.
As I mentioned before, the behavior of this bird species is different from others; it loves walking on grass or soil. While it is usually found in pairs, and sometimes with others of its kind, I have to say that the times we have seen them, which haven't been many, perhaps three or four times, we have always found it alone. It feeds on ants and termites as you can see in the video; The times we found it, it was feeding so energetically it almost seemed comical; it was as if it were hurrying so that not a single "ants" could escape. This isn't just a beautiful species; they have a melodious and very peculiar "trill" that, once you hear it, every time you hear its sound, you'll associate it with this lovely bird.

Los correntinos somos personas que fuimos criadas con nuestros abuelos, y hemos asimilado las creencias de nuestros ancestros, los ¨guaraníes¨: . Mucho se habla en ese aspecto de esta preciosa ave, una de las tantas ¨leyendas¨: habla de que antiguamente no era como la conocemos, no tenía los vivos colores, y los consiguió en un intercambio con el ¨tucán¨: a cambio de sus nidos. Esto sería la justificación del porqué los ¨tucanes¨: ponen sus huevos en los agujeros creados por los ¨carpinteros¨: .Otra de las tantas ¨historias¨: afirma que antes de ser un pájaro era una persona, y que por su accionar ha sido castigado por los dioses convirtiéndolo en ave Existen muchas versiones de las leyendas que van cambiando al momento de ser narradas; eso es lo interesante del ¨folklor¨ guaraní, que cada persona narra una historia de acuerdo a su interpretación. Escogí esta ave para participar del concurso ¨el ¨animal¨: ¨más-bello¨ por su singular belleza, por su presencia en las leyendas que hablaban nuestros ancestros y todas esas particularidades que hacen del ave única.

Que hermosa invitación la que me aportas por aquí, pues tengo unas entradas para uno de los zoológicos de Madrid a ver que tal logre atrapar algunas de estas hermosas historias, mi hija me hablo de un panda que dio a luz a dos y según me cuenta mi hija ellos tienden a dejar solo uno, así que la gente del zoológico se los turnaban para alimentarlos así creía que era uno solo. Han pasado varios años de eso. Bueno eso es lo que me cuenta mi hija, ya veré que puedo averiguar por allí, ya que me encantan esas historias. Un abrazo.
