Las palomas son aves preciosas e imparten mucha ternura; es verdad que muchas personas no las quieren y temen que aporten algunas enfermedades, pero, como bien dices, no hay que maltratarlas.

It really bothers me that people refer to them as pests, when they’re such beautiful birds that don’t even attack in self-defense.
I also liked their symbolism; that makes them even more special within the animal kingdom.
