Today I'm sharing some of my recent deeply atmospheric photos of the autumn sky here on the southernmost shoreline of Africa.
Not much happens here in this remote edge of the world. However, there's plenty of space, with wide item skies, so that's what I've observed and am able to capture.
I spend lots of time observing the skies above me. Not only do I have lots of space and sky but also lots of time. I'm thus one of the wealthy minority on the planet with all this space available. I'm sure your sky is lovely too may have way more stuff to fill your skyline. Nevertheless, here you can see just how empty the world is in some distant and scattered locations where few ever roam. This is where I call home.
Just look how much space there is around me in these photos. I haven't been to a city for years. Lots of emptiness is great as I prefer it to crowds and clutter. What an abundance of luxuries in the form of wide item horizons. Some of the bush and hillside here is dense and not traversed by any humans. It hasn't been touched for millennia by humans. How powerful is that?
It's not for everyone, if course. But if most had a choice they would chose to live in nature. Am I generalizing? The youth prefer busy cities. Yet if you're forced to live in crowds it's not great.
There's so much space in the planet, so I capture it in my little camera, as much as I can. And publish it with the idea of sharing some of this abundance with you because perhaps you don't have as much.
I have so much, I'm loaded with mega bags of space and a good amount of time daily. What a hot to share the space in picture form, without taking much of your time.
Nature is free, all this space is free. Enjoy it while you have the time and it will nurture you more than the city. It's hard to know how one on the other side of the planet might see the vast empty African skies. It's not much but it's also everything, depending on your perspective of the world. Today I share mine with you in all it's warm and spacious glory. If you're feeling stuffy then come and get some fresh air. We still have some here for you. It's the next new luxury after fresh water. Some things are taken for granted if they were always there for us. Space and time, air and water, these commonplace things may be our future treasures, so I'm collecting proof of space in my photos so you can see how wealthy I've become here. Some just don't know how lucky they are, and some do.
