Haha thankfully nonvenomous right? We have a type of brown snake here too, I almost caught it on camera but it slithered away too fast. My coworkers thought I was crazy taking a couple days off to see a road with poisonous snakes all over it lol.

Yup, our brown house snake is the smallest member of the boa family although they will draw blood when they bite (been there, done that). Now I've learned to offer them a little box to hide in. They actually tame up easily and are often kept as pets

Hah my coworkers thought I was only into mushrooms but now they realize I like reptiles too. That's interesting that your brown snakes are actually boas. I grew up in Arizona where they have loads of snakes and I've always wanted to find a rosy boa, sadly still haven't seen one yet.
