lets make a collage round 151 | The Red Planet of Birds [EN - DE]

in Let's Make a Collagelast year (edited)

Hey LMACians

On my last post something really awesome happened, @daltono left me a comment with some technical advice on how to make my collages work better. This is awesome because criticism, or advice really brings you further. Sure a praise for one' s own work receives everyone gladly, but compliments bring us rarely further.
I tried to follow his advice and read up a bit on the subject with the bledings and masks. In the collage for the round 151 I have tried to implement a little, I hope you can see it... 😅

Thank you @daltono , 2% beneficiary for this valuable advice!

The template was, once again, a wonderful image from @shaka
I liked the little mountain path right away. When I looked at the picture a little longer, the idea with a desert setting developed.
Maybe it once looked like this on Mars, when it still had an atmosphere?
The birds are the inhabitants of this alien world and they have built large monuments. The question is for whom?
Anyway, apparently they also have a highly developed space technology, I wonder what Erich von Däniken would say about that? :D

If you want to enter the contest, you can find all the important information in @Shaka's introduction post. I can only recommend you to give it a try, it's a great experience and you will get a lot of support in the LMAC community.

It's great reading your narrative and combining that with the collage. You really are immersed in the creative process when you make one of these. Obviously a rich, growth experience for you 😇. (Also for me when I make one. Doesn't matter as much how it comes out. What matters more is what I put into it)

Thanks for using those 'artistic' birds. First time I've seen them in a collage. They look really cool in yours.

Good luck this week, @captainloken . I love the collage. (Don't have any constructive criticism...my knowledge of technique is very limited)

Hey, @agmoore thanks for stopping by and the nice comment. The two birds are really beautiful and I thought they fit the setting very well.
It's just as you describe, the "best" pictures are the ones that tell a story. Of course that is always a matter of taste but at least for me it is.

I'm glad you like my work.

Hi @captainloken I like your collage, the contrast of the landscapes, the pyramids and the flying saucer is impressive.

Hey @lrscarmen thank you very much for stopping by and your comment, i am glad you like my collage 😃
