¡Qué tal amigos artistas! Una nueva semana de creación nos encuentra en nuestra maravillosa comunidad. Empiezo por agradecer al staff y de paso recomendar la propuesta de LMAC aquí. Todas las semanas se propone una imágen para una competencia entre los creadores. Todos los trabajos son maravillosos y esta es para mi una de las comunidades más potentes de artes visuales en nuestra red.
La imágen de esta semana fue un paisaje montañoso en el desierto. Así que decidí transformar la montaña en un volcán, fue lo que primero se me vino a la mente. Primero comencé eliminando el cielo y después cortando la montaña para poder modificarla. Terminé optando por cortar otro volcán y modificar la forma para que encaje con el diseño original.
Cuando buscaba imágenes de volcanes encontré una de una mujer emergiendo de magma incandescente. Colocarla me pareció que iba a ser un desafío (que lo fué) pero son algunos sacrificios para el dios del arte.
Luego separe el terreno en varias capas para poder ir agregando diferentes imágenes en diferentes lejanías. En éste lienzo utilicé mucho material diferente, conecté con la fotografía y fui modificando aquí y allá un poco cada día. Puse mucha atención en los detalles y estoy conforme con el trabajo final, espero que a ustedes tambien les guste! No duden en dejar su opinión en los comentarios!
How are you my artist friends! A new week of creation finds us in our wonderful community. I start by thanking the staff and recommending the LMAC proposal here. Every week an image is proposed for a competition among the creators. All the works are wonderful and this is for me one of the most powerful visual arts communities in our network.
This week's image was a mountain landscape in the desert. So I decided to transform the mountain into a volcano, it was the first thing that came to my mind. First I started by removing the sky and then cutting the mountain in order to modify it. I ended up choosing to cut out another volcano and modify the shape to fit the original design.
When I was looking for images of volcanoes I found one of a woman emerging from incandescent magma. Placing it looked like it was going to be a challenge (which it was) but it's some sacrifices to the god of art.
I then separated the ground into several layers so that I could add different images at different distances. On this canvas I used a lot of different material, connected with photography and modified here and there a little bit each day. I paid a lot of attention to detail and I'm happy with the final work, I hope you like it too! Feel free to leave your opinion in the comments!
