Greetings, friends of this creative community.

Saludos, amigos de esta comunidad creativa.

This week @shaka challenges us with the image of an immense castle. A building that speaks of an ancient history, in whose spaces great deeds surely took place and where the men of that time told great legends. I imagine the kings with their kings in their chambers and the footmen imagining stories of dragons.

My first thought was about how many people and years were spent making that castle. I was thinking about that when the idea of medieval children playing came to me.

I started thinking about the paintings of Pieter Breuguel the Elder. And there came the inspiration for my collage.

Esta semana @shaka nos reta con la imagen de un inmenso castillo. Una edificación que habla de una historia antigua, en cuyos espacios seguramente se produjeron gestas grandiosas y donde los hombres de esa época contaron grandes leyendas. Yo imagino los reyes con sus reyes en los aposentos y a los lacayos imaginando historias de dragones.

Mi pensamiento primero fue sobre la cantidad de personas y de años que se gastaron haciendo ese castillo. Estaba en eso cuan do me vino la idea de los niños medievales jugando.

Comencé a pensar en las pinturas de Pieter Breuguel el viejo. Y allí llegó la inspiración de mi collage.
